You can always respec and steal your gold back and do it over and over if needed. That helps.

On a PC you get black chat bubbles with no text for 2-3 companions at once I guess they are trying to talk to each other. Just started this patch and at random times.

I hope by last patch they mean last content patch because there are a number of bugs that were introduced, hopefully they patch that stuff eventually.
