So I had a few days off after vacation last week, and went straight through the main story into NG+. Basically, if you like the Bethesda formula you'll have fun, if you don't, then you should probably skip it. I've started NG+ to do side quests, build outposts and do everything else in the game...

FF3 finished. I think I like it the least of the first 3. It took a while because BG3 and FF16 are taking up the majority of my gaming time. Onward to FF4 on the Switch.

The game was fun and i learned a lot. This is the the second time I've played my 1k sons, and I only started building them recently for this game. I have the paint scheme picked and 1 of each type painted, so I just need to finish the rest.

I wish I was better at timing things like parry and dodge counters, but I usually just settle for trying to be patient. Looking the abilities, there are a bunch of things I usually end up triggering by accident when trying not to get hit.

A few comments now that I've played for an hour or two. The English dubs don't bother me, I also watch dubbed anime if it's available, so your mileage may vary. I don't notice the motion blur or any performance issues. It might be because my tv supports "120hz"(whatever that means for tvs)...

The story starts with a bang, just brutal. I don't remember ff15 starting this strong.

Bought these on switch and finished ff1 a couple days ago. 30 or so years after I first started it. When I was a kid my save got corrupted when I got to the chaos temple and I never played it again.

His idea about Warhammer giving away physical and digital world intro magazines would be great. I'm reading through the lore in the core book, and just simplified versions of that would help people get a foothold into the lore.

I've been doing some more searching, aquarium base materials might be a cheaper source for some things. As soon as you put a Warhammer/modeling label on some things, the price gets a 10x markup. But, I don't mind paying for a few things if I think they'll work for me.

Anyone have a recommendation for base materials? Conventional or not. The two I've come across so far are: Army painter seems to have some decent stuff, but looks like it can get expensive. I ran along this site that maybe has similar prices and a decent variety in one spot. Geek Gaming USA

I've not played a new character in 4-5 years, but it didn't used to work that way. That must have been something that's changed in the last few years to speed up leveling. Higher level combat doesn't work that way, unless there have been major changes in the last few months.

I've been working on my first real painting project: Imperium magazine necrons and ultramarines. Im starting to get a decent amount of them caught up with where I'm at in issues. I'm just going for getting the right paint in the right areas at this point. I want to have a fair amount of practice...

I like the mechanicum lore and will eventually build a regular army of them at some point. Not anytime soon though

I've bee I just picked up two of the imperial knight Christmas boxes from @Regime. I have to be done buying models for a while.

I think I've only been collecting maybe 4-5 months and I already have a pile of stuff to assemble and paint. How long it's going to take is starting to sink in. I'm looking forward to it, but I do need to stop picking things up until I get some models done. And find the time to play.

Making some progress on my Imperium necrons. I need to get what I have built a basic paint job so I can work on my Custodes. These were two of the first models I built and started painting.

Jackfrags has a decent gameplay demo. Might skip around if you don't want spoilers. 3rd person rpg. Cast spells, throwing people around, and sneak mechanics are some of what I saw. Looks story heavy and it's supposed to have lots of puzzles, most of which I think are optional.

I picked out the game and all dlc a while back, but was to busy to play it. I've started a new run through following the shaman/Necro 2h melee build on the site above. Enjoying it more than the ranged build I did last time.
