I know more multipliers are multiplicative while increased is additive. I'm not sure how that's relevant here though, because nothing here actually deals "increased" damage. If your point is I should be multiplying the modifiers at each conversion step, that's not actually how it works because...

Yeah, if you have legacy items you can actually scumbag 180% more out of this node for almost any attack skill if it works this way. Just use an attack skill that naturally converts phys to lightning on top of phys to lightning gem, or use a weapon that converts phys to lightning with the gem...

I'm not sure what you mean by this. If the mod doesn't double dip and only applies once, it averages out to 45% more damage (1.45x multiplier) on any build that doesn't do chaos damage naturally. It's just a straight up better version of the old Berserker node, and that's if it doesn't double...

    Path of Exile

It's actually just straight 45% more damage on average if it doesn't double dip. That's not what makes it broken. If it actually double dips through conversions like "elemental damage added as extra chaos" does you can do things like use Pyre + Cold to Fire to convert Glacial Cascade to Fire...

Also, Doon Cuebiyari/Shaper's Touch STR-stacking with Ascendant Hierophant + Chieftain is utterly retarded. It works great as a league starter and it scales up immensely well. You get insane EHP, leech AND regen, three totems, the safety of a totem build, and then on top of that the ascendancies...

I'm seeing this rather often, but does "Gain non-Chaos damage as extra Chaos damage" actually double dip through damage conversions? I know "Gain Elemental damage as extra Chaos damage" definitely does but Malediction (Occultist ascendancy) is the only thing currently in existence that actually...

It's incredibly rare. Last league the price was around 2ex, and that was with less than 5% of the meta going CI and the vast majority of CI players being Guardian which doesn't need EfW as the life to mana conversion jewel actually provides more ES for Guardians. Trickster being Berserker 2.0...

Iron Commander Hierophant looks hilarious. That's going to be 10%/5% regen from that node alone?

LOL, a channeled skill with 8k ES, zero secondary defenses, and 10% increased damage taken. There are people good enough at the game to make this work but it's probably not any of us. I mean you can get to level 90 softcore dying 3-4 times per level but you're not getting much farther past that.

My new league starter is Slayer/Raider Molten Strike Scion with White Wind, Hyrri's Ire, Atziri's Step. All 1c uniques, over a million DPS on bosses alongside dodge cap, 56% spell dodge, 30k evasion, Slayer leech, >80% move speed. Scion also enables getting MoM and EO for very few points.

Poison actually isn't poorly implemented in general, the problem is Blade Flurry and Molten Strike are so overpowered they completely obsolete all other melee skills.

    Hearthstone

Funny that you mention Exodia Mage, OTK Mage will still exist post-rotation and then there won't be any Dirty Rat to counter it. 2 Simulacrum, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Antonidas, Leyline Manipulator, Molten Reflection is a OTK, you copy the apprentice twice then drop Leyline Manipulator to reduce...

    Hearthstone

1 mana is a huge nerf, it dismantles the Velen + Radiant Elemental OTK and makes it super easy to out-armor/heal the Priest's ability to do damage. I'm not sure what beats Jade Druid post nerf, they already clowned on Cubelock and now Priest will be a trivially easy matchup.

    Hearthstone

The real problem is the overpowered buff cards and the fact that silences have all been nerfed into uselessness. A big reason Priest is so ascendant is because they actually have playable silence effects. Every deck basically has to be hard control with unconditional sweepers or weenie swarm +...

I don't know why wanting to fuck someone, hypothetically, completely bars you from being friends with that person. Can bisexual people not have friends at all? Saying you can't be friends with a woman because you would fuck her if given the opportunity and that bitterness or jealousy over this...

Getting invited to go on a run with a bunch of hot chicks and having to decline because they're setting a pace you'll never keep up with. 8km in 40 minutes? I'm not fucking 20 anymore. Saying, "You're a guy, I figured it would be easy for you" does not make this better.

Occasionally losing to legendaries in arena have absolutely nothing on fucking Bonemare and how literally everything revolves around how much of that card you get to draw/draft. Or how Standard would be 100% Bonemare decks if it wasn't for highlander gimmicks.

If you're not OT-exempt you're required to start getting overtime after 40 hours. That means the middle of the third day if you're working 16-hour days, not the start of the fifth. If you're not getting that either they're breaking the law or you're on salary.

Weirdest one I've seen that looks really strong is Necromancer/Slayer with the Baron hat, Doon Cuebiyari, and STR stacking.
