So I guess this game actually officially launched last week.... with as little fanfaire or announcement as possible. That's one of the big problems with these early access paid beta games, the release means basically nothing except a little patch. anyone know if it's actually worth the money...

So, questions for those that know more about the lore than I do: How does Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War plot fit into this thing? Does this take place before or after those events? is anything about the games, Celebrimbor, Talion, or the "new" ring canon? Will we see anything about Shelob...

Cool concept. Waaaaaay back when it was first announced this is kinda what i thought Shadowbane was going to be (except more persistent). You might check out what worked (and didn't work) from that when youre trying to think of ways players might break your game.

God DAMN this show is amazing this season. Every frame is a work of art. Bill Irwin is an absolute master of choreography. The story has its hooks in me so deep all I feel is a void whenever I think about how much I'll miss this show when it's over.

Nobody knows how many games it will be. Nobody knows how long each one is. Nobody knows how long it will take for the complete anthology to be released. Any of those numbers you see "released" is pure conjecture.

"Expanding the story" just means they're going to get completely lost in side tangents and nonsensical retcons, to the point that the game will literally never be finished.

AND its only the first little bit of the game. Id be extremely surprised if we even get out of Midgar in chapter 1, which puts the final chapter count at what? 8 or 10? Meaning 2030 at the very least before this cow is milked dry.

These are all good ideas for what they could have done. Trying to push out those initiatives now though, in their darkest hour with no cash? Has there ever been any retailer that's been able to pivot the entire business model for so many stores across the country and come back swinging...

about to finish it. I liked it, but having read the book already, I didn't think it was as good. The apocalypse visuals translate really well to the screen but the nuances of the jokes and the dialogue didn't. 7/10

Norththemage got a beta key. He's a little bit annoying (not too bad) but out of anyone he'd be the person with the most experience. He's been the top pve mage on northdale and other classic pservers for a couple years now. so if you want to watch someone who knows what they're doing, it'd be him.

Oh, they definitely do. Blizzard never planned for this thing and had to create everything basically from scratch using the new client and it shows. pservers are also waaaay faster at fixing things than blizzard is and far more responsive and transparent. Back in January or whenever it was...
