Everyone wants EG vs OG, its the ultimate betrayal story. Never has TI been this personal. Also, fuck China and their year. Also, NEW HERO OUT NOW OH SHIT!
This very well could be OG's "EHOME moment" from TI6. Where EG broke them so bad, they proceeded to lose 3 straight games and fall out of the tournament after the comeback. Will see. Also, Drow apparently wins games.
That turn could possibly tilt OG into oblivion. Notail tipping Fly, only to lose cause Seb is trash. Also Topson fed them a shit ton of necrobook gold, after the minions stopped being a threat, and just became food.
Yeah, Group A going 8-0 is a bit telling. That said, I think EG have secured themselves an easy Top 3 this year. Which is all I really wanted, as that puts them back to where they were in the TI4-TI6 era. I picked VP to win it all before the tournament, but as usual they are choking at TI, so...
Tipping is a part of TI Compendium, where you are allowed 3 per game. Obviously it is normally meant to commend good play, but in professional matches, the players will tip each other if they kill them, or they fuck up, etc.
Its almost equal to last years so far, short by a couple hundred thousand, but the prize pool increases until August 25th.
This EG vs Mineski Game 2 comeback. If you missed this game, watch it. Mineski should have had this game.
LGD has dropped two games today that they shouldn't have. Not a good sign for a China win. I think VP may just walk away with this one.
Something I really wasn't expecting, Wraith King is really popular across many teams. Seen him in a lot of games today.
Eg looking good but one has to remember, China is very weak this year. Outside of LGD, China is not in good form. Newbee is middling and VG and VGJ earned their points mid way through the year then fell off hard. IG is garbage. Serenity is your typical Chinese wild card, they took the 1st game...
The stream most likely starts in a half hour for introductions, or maybe only a half hour before the games. But four streams start running simultaneously in one and a half hours, noon EST.
TI 8 Group Stage
I haven't really played a TCG since I played Magic as a kid almost 20 years ago. I am a huge believer in both DotA and Valve, so I am all aboard the hype train on this one.
Apparently Dana and Brendan Schaub both shit talked each other on Adensaya's Instagram. Which is beyond retarded, but at the same time something that doesn't surprise me about either of them.
White and Schaub went on Adesanya’s Instagram to insult each other
I had all of those in that gif but the Quetzlcoatlus growing up. Though that toy was just a repaint of the Pterodactyl with a different head, which I did have.
That's the reskin of the Arbalest that the Kickstarter backers got. But again, since this is the last push they are giving the game, they are giving it away for free.
From what I have read, this is the end of development for Darkest Dungeon. Red Hook is now moving on to a new game.
Always nice to see a game that is a Kickstarter success.
From what I read, doing that is completely pointless, as the shops bring in a negligible amount of money. It is all based on your dinosaurs.
As I said, I'm buying it, but the criticisms are reasonable.
While IGN is shit (Alien Isolation review anyone?), they have a point that is echoed in other reviews. The actual park management part is rather bare bones and repetitive. Now Frontier have a good rep for fixing things over time like they did with Planet Coaster but out the gate if you buy...
Its not scary, its just really creepy if that makes sense. If you saw the VVitch, it is very similar in structure. Very few jump scares, just a lot of disturbing shit.
Grant is enjoyable in games with NA or SA teams because of his intimate knowledge of those players, outside of that, super mediocre.
Also, Na'Vi beats both Secret and VP in the groups... loses to Pain Gaming. Fucking Na'Vi.
