I don't think it was a 'shitty' RPG, but it was very... Arcadey? Like, the same way Burnout: Paradise isn't a 'shitty' racing game.

I think I just made all the 'right' decisions... My first play through was an Elf female who romanced Solas, so I got all the cool little story tidbits that he gave you. Think I kept him and the dwarf rogue guy in my party almost the whole time with Cassandra, and their banter was quite good...

We'll see where they go with the story in Eps 8 & 9, but it's entirely possible that the repetition you're complaining about is an intentional part of the overarching theme of the trilogy.

I watched it last week. It's an excellent Star Wars movie.

TFA's rewatch-quality is excellent. I've probably watched it 7 or 8 times at this point. I do not expect that from R1 at all. It's a boring ass movie with a bunch of top-tier awesome fanservice. I doubt I'll care to see that more than a few times over the course of my life.

Yeah, I've heard people make the 'choreographed' observation before. I'm not sure I've ever bought that line of thought. If a sword fight were going to be choreographed for lethal realism, it'd be over in seconds. Multi-minute, high tension duels just wouldn't be a thing. I do agree with you...

The only thing that kept me from putting TPM above A New Hope was the success of the Darth Vader villain. Aside from that component (and Alec Guiness' performance) it's a superior experience in almost every way for me.
