Yes in that it takes place on the same Ranch and the Dutton family are involved. I would just wait on watching 1923. The writing is descent but they resolve none of the major arcs within the show by the end. Hopefully season 2 will manage to do this.

Don't forget Tom Cruise. He can also keep making lots of money.

    The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan (2023)

I will watch this. I like Eva Green well enough and it is actually French. I also like how gritty it looks. Has a more realistic time period feel to it.

    John Wick: Chapter 4 (2022)

There were a few annoying things in that video. "Its dead in the hand...like no recoil. I mean its amazing. It has no recoil. I mean its like dead in the hand. It has no recoil... I stopped watching at that point and recoiled away.

    Star Trek: Picard

I remember that scene and I kind of wondered why he had done that. Riker/not Riker is part of the plot? That might explain his personality on the bridge...

    Hellboy (2019)

He kind of looks the part. I think with proper prep he could bulk up for the part. Also his face is the right shape. Will have to see how he is written in with the dialogue and then how he plays it. I am glad that it does appear they thought out the lead at least.

    Star Trek: Picard

Did not like the last part where Riker throws him off the bridge. The strategy was sound. The only other strategy would have been to give up the kid, but nothing says they do not destroy you anyways. They kept mentioning "Biological" within the nebula. Something tells me that will be a big...

    The Last of Us

Based on how everyone describes the second game, I feel like I will not even bother with season 2 unless it gets stellar reviews from "this" board.

    The Last of Us

The thing that irritates me about this show is how the writing contradicts what the premise of the show is supposed to be. The Last of Us is supposed to be a zombie like end of the world kind of show based around the actions of the human race. It then narrows the focus to how two people survive...

That zombie would have been hacked up to verify death. If you have to consider it could be alive, you are going to make sure it is not. Removing the head would be easy to do.

    The Last of Us

I hate when shows act with no realism. Yes, lets stitch a belly wound up with no sterilization. Joel would have at least considered cauterizing the wound using that fire they showed. The man is 56. A regular bacterial infection would easily kill him given the size and depth of that wound. We...

    Car ?'s

I usually just chuckle at people who buy Mercedes Benz or BMW's. They are over priced and often times have questionable reliability. They are not practical cars. They exist as a way of showing off wealth over those who cannot afford that kind of car. However, I am never going to tell a person...

    1923

Holy shit, The man does not even reach the ranch. What the fuck kind of show ends with no arc completed at all for a season. If you have not watched this show, do not bother yet. It is a waste of time to watch season one as it was written to streeeeeeeeeeeetch through multiple seasons. Just...

    M3GAN (2022)

This is out on Peacock for those who have not watched it. Pretty good movie. It does make you consider how far we can safely go before we go too far with technology. I would pay $10,000 for one of those in a heart beat. Then I would be found dead a week or sooner later.....

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)

I save so much money not going to movies anymore. I used to watch every Marvel movie and some others each year. Top Gun Maverick was my last theater experience. Industry can keep on making trash and I can just keep on waiting for it to just come on a stream service because the quality does not...

Nice review on the process for the UI. Some good details. Looks like they are reviewing the first major dungeon/area next month. Just skip to the end if you want a sneak peak.

    Babylon (2022)

This was not totally bad. I liked parts of it, while others parts seemed to be chaotic and pointless. The multi-basement house was ...different. The bottom was a bit of a let down, given what they went through to get to it. It was kind of interesting seeing perhaps some of the chaos involved...

I put some hours into this game. The high end is definitely where it gets boring. They have this nice smooth rate of power increase when leveling 1-60. It has nice graphics, sound and pretty good combat. Then you reach 60th and see the grind. I need to do what just for a 5% increase in...

    The Last of Us

I know damn well, if I was not dead, I would be having panic attacks every day. Sleep would be a bitch in that environment. Knowing that civility was gone, and that at any moment in a day, a person could be raped, killed, eaten, enslaved, or become the very thing that you fear, would be serious...

    The Pope's Exorcist (2023)

Calling bullshit on the "Actually happened aspect" as the way they are showing it in this movie. That being said, it looks pretty good as a fun horror flick. I like Russel Crowe In most of what he has done.

I wish they would have shown it doing more than just a vertical takeoff and landing. $140,000 is a very reasonable cost given what it does. That price could come down if they found a way of mass producing them. They will need to find away of increasing the 35 minute limit. 35 minutes goes by...

    1923

At the rate they have been going, the entire season will be a cliff hanger. Nothing will be wrapped up. Now if the last episode is 3 hours long, then maybe they can wrap a few things up. Superman had not even crossed the ocean and entered into the United States yet. I would be shocked if they...

So, the horse is attacked but just left there. This is to bait in the rider. Get him closer and closer as the monsters surround him. Then, just as he understands what is happening, the torch goes out leaving him blind to the creatures that will kill him. Next scene has him walking through...

    Star Trek: Picard

That was the part that kind of bugged me as well. I wonder if that comes back later with perhaps a cover story that makes what she did plausible. Imagine if Number One had done that to Jean Luc. I beleive there were a couple of episodes where indeed he did but the reasoning was damn good. There...

    1923

So we have 30 episodes left? I feel like I am literally watching a book to show format at the rate they are carrying this. It is good but I honestly just wish they would have released the whole season at once. Watching once a week really makes it drag along. I feel like it would not feel...

I am guessing that the lions, elephants, and sharks were a way to show how she actually gets toughened up. She is from high society where talk is all they have. I actually do not mind her character but did expect her to die at some point. At this point, I think she becomes the new tough bitch...

    What vehicle do you drive?

I am having a difficult time trying to figure out whether or not to wait a few more months before buying a new truck. Can we see that test with a 4x4 Ford now please? I also like how The Tesla truck got to move into a pull position with power revved as opposed to Ford's truck starting from a sitting position. There are cars that could out pull a 2x4 Ford Truck.

I enjoyed the show. It helps if you enjoy the environment and setting of the show. I think it ending with season 4 would have been fine as Jimmie's Arc came pretty much full circle. I am sad that season 5 seems to have jumped the shark. Hopefully not to the extent of Season 8 of Game of Thrones...
