How is a game currency convertible? Just cause there's a black market for some of it? Vbucks can't be traded unless you sell your entire account. Same with most games. Maybe WoW coins (or any MMO currency) could qualify since you can trade them in-game and put them on a black market easier...

itmejp was once a top LoL player (afaik). or was it WoW? Coh was early enough to break through, I'm talking the year 2020. Once you've acquired a fanbase via the criteria I just mentioned, you can then start slacking off.

You need to be the top 0.1% of a game, and play a popular game. And/or be in the top 5-10% of a game that isn't popular yet, but eventually becomes popular (Ninja > FortNite). Also helps to have an appealing personality, but you still get streamers like Tfue that only thrive off their skill...

Sorry but changing the meta every couple weeks sounds really bad too. People don't want you have to relearn the game every couple weeks. If your game lacks depth to where players can't see themselves making progress, or not enough depth to have varied matches, without forcing meta changes...
