I went with Devoto's for the movement speed; I didn't see much of a need for more life. The reduced fire resist mod is nice but I'm already over 320k per ball--not counting 9% more when on consecrated ground. With a properly crafted sword, I'll be close to 400k per ball.

Get a +1 vd helm. Most of my jewels were only 1ex

The only delay is the half a second between ball spawn and target locking.

It's definitely my favorite cyclone build. I have over 7mil dps, near 7k hp, 50% atk / 37% spell dodge, and fire leech.

The version I did was fairly expensive. I'm not sure how budget-friendly you can go with it. All of the abyss jewels weren't cheap. Crafting the bow would be 6 to 10ex.

While the clear speed is superior on corridor maps I feel in open maps that are specters better. Survival is pretty bad but my tree--I ran out of regrets--and gear aren't optimized

Necro-specter competes with every expensive build I've played at a portion of the cost; bossing and clear are top tier. I was doing 350-400 delve in MF gear. I'm regretting selling off my specter build's gear.

According to the pcinvasion article, it's 364 possible, including the 13 secret passives. edit: looked at the math. x^3=364 -> x = ~5.38 different oils unless there are more possible outcomes for amulets than the article says. That also assumes it's a combination of 3 only.

I like that the oil recipes will be set and have no random element. A free passive will be interesting. The 13 secret passives might include some of value.
