Made roughly an easy 4% shorting today, best day in a while (including TSLA). When market sentiment is this crappy, its like taking candy from a baby. I closed my shorts when I got buy signals on everything in power hour. Not buying anything right now, sitting at 20% cash still.

I get it, but there are other considerations, like the debt ceiling. My goal is to short down another 1%, and then sit to the side with 20% cash and reevalute.

Except the Fed is speaking tomorrow. I get skittish on days like that...a good way to lose money. One wrong word or sentence and it blows up. Chartmaster was calling for a 7.5% drop in the S&P, we are at 6 now.

On actionalerts just now, Cramer was recommending we avoid the 1st dip and consider buying the 2nd.

I'll probably close my shorts tomorrow, but not buying anything until Wednesday (most likely).

So S&P is down 6% in the last week, is it possible we are nearing the end, or headed down?

I'm amazed, Cramer timed this perfectly. Thursday he said get out, Friday he said GTFO, and now he's saying wait a few days before dipping your toe back in.

Jim Chanos is on CNBC talking about WYNN should be shorted to 40. He said they did the calculations wrong. All the bears are out in full effect. And that just pushed the price down another 2 a share.

Thoughts on Chinese shorts? Trying to find a good Chinese Bank or Construction ETF.

Apple's profit margin for services is 70%...maybe hardware will be 30 (or less) with all the inflation issues.

No one is afraid of shorting Apple right now. Bears have seized onto the Epic lawsuit and last product show. Look at the chart, shorts have been feasting. This stock is going to have a hard time moving up anytime soon...

Pretty much what the Chartmaster says. And no, he's not perfect, but we'll see if the trendline stays broken or not, and its something to watch closely. Would def be careful and if you are trading, stop it out according to volatility. I'm shorting as a hedge right now.

Anybody watch Cramer last night? Man, he's even more bearish. Listen to what he said, he said you should be shorting the next week or two. I am 50/50 long term investments and shorting, and still have room to short more. Shorting TSLA, AAPL and the SPY.

Closed my short on Apple that I reopened today, made .63% in a couple of hours today. Would rather be short than long right now.

My stop loss is usually 1%. If I'm short and I get stopped out, I sometimes go long. I go with the flow, I don't paddle upstream.

I'm short Apple, Tesla and have a GTC short for the SPY at 443. So yeah, I want to start a short position in the SPY.
