Are there any particular professions I should take on a rogue? Been planning to wait until lvl 60 then boost to 90 for the profession boost, but if there is no real practical need for them, may just boost now.

It's been years since I've played, and I'm only lvl 20, but having fun. Doing some questing while df queuing, good times.

Anyone around who can invite to guild? Toon is Morrdryn.

Since it is looking most like Hyjal, went ahead and rolled a toon. Gonna try to get ton60, so I can use the boost and have it boost professions too.

I am in about the same boat, Draegan, in regards to how I am feeling about mmos. I'm burning out hard, but I think it is just that I've become too jaded about mmo pvp. It's all cc based(which is nothing new of course), and maybe I'm just over it. Not a knock to the game. I think what I want out...

The pvp going on in this thread is more amusing than most of the pvp I've encountered in AA.

Excited to finish the toon I started a couple months ago. Backed off for the launch of AA, but my interest in that game is dropping at a dramatic pace.

Queue definitely moving more quickly, but it still huge. Not too irritated about it for a change. I played loads this morning, and got my first Hasla weapon, which is really what I was shooting for completing today.

Last night when I had been in the Kyrios queue for 5+ hours, it was about bed time so I checked the other servers. Two of them didn't even have a real queue. One was 2 people, the other was 5. The other servers hovered between 1200-2500. This was at around 9pm est.

I hate to do it, but I have no choice. Yesterday got home and queued around 3:30, with 2260 people. Was still 600 ahead of me at 10, when I went to bed.

Made it to char select after 4 hrs. Hopefully they let me stay until I get off work!!

It was 1420 at 4:50 am.

Hartsman himself posted on the official forums that they had server hardware arrive this morning, and that they are working on it.

If they have implemented a character select kick, it has made no difference to the queue for me. I've barely moved up 200 places in the last hour.

I would like the new iPhone, but I am 18 months from an upgrade, and Verizon won't let me just switch to Edge, trade in my phone, and get it with Edge. Sad face.

I agree. But, who knows what they are thinking, when they are not communicating with the players at all.

I get that they don't want the servers to become ghost towns, if they add too many. But, it does seem to be getting a little extreme, in that they are losing out on a fairly significant(just my opinion) amount of players by not adding any. A fine line to try to walk. I don't envy the people who...

As bad as I am hearing queues are today, I am expecting to log in when I get home at 3:30est, and sit in the queue until 10, when I goto bed. Le sigh.

They tweeted last night that they increased server caps by 20%. Still a queue at 4:45 est this morning....

I'm used to queues for mmos. Though, I personally am used to them around prime time. I encountered a queue when logging in this morning at 4:50 est to chop my trees and replant before work. I guess I just have never played on the absolute highest pop server in a game.

I'll be 50 by the weekend, and fully intend to spend my time coming to assist the lower people. Need everyone to 50!!!

Got to 40. Got my large farm finished, and still spent plenty of time with my family, so I am pleased with the weekend's result.

Yeah, my graphics looked like crap, after being logged in for like 8 hours. But, if I had logged, that would have been it for me for the day, considering the queue times.

It is very annoying.

I can't really complain too much, had a long first run. Though the bottleneck at that one Hurani quest almost made me throw my laptop through a window.

The queue is painfully slow. Damn TWC just had to eff up and kick me. Le sigh.
