I tried multiple time, It is a beautiful looking game, but very repetitive when it comes down to questing, exploring the same #asset1 cave/ruin etc. I prefer GW2 with better class/world/quest design over this for sure,.
Agree, most things you pay are cosmetic. The best gun can not be brought. Plus the differences between the best gun and worst gun under the same categorize are NOT much.
I love EQ2 art style, it is one of the main reasons I prefer it over WoW. I couldn't really get into WoW, I tried so many time including the Classic server
