I really liked this movie. I thought the set was fantastically done and beautiful. I'm fairly happy with how they chose to end it. Not a fan of JLaw at all, but this is the first movie I actually kinda liked her in.

In the opera scene from Episode III, he spelled things out beautifully, and the funny thing was, he wasn't lying. In his mind, he was doing the right thing.

Clearly you missed, well, all of the prequels. In Episode II, we see dozens of Jedi get slain fighting droids. In Episode III, we see more get wasted by clone troopers. Godmode, they are not.

Using the Force in this context though is ignoring outside stimuli (computer targeting) and going with your intuition/instinct/gut feeling. It's nowhere near the leaps made in VII.

Qui-Gon was the first to learn how to commune from the "netherrealm" of the Force, and taught Yoda how to go all ghosty, whom passed on that info to Obi-Wan. Qui-Gon's body did not vanish, but he also never appeared as a ghost.
