    Oh hi guys

The tide is turning, my dear Chuk. The prequels are making a come back. Release your hate. You know it to be true.

    Passengers (2016)

I really liked this movie. I thought the set was fantastically done and beautiful. I'm fairly happy with how they chose to end it. Not a fan of JLaw at all, but this is the first movie I actually kinda liked her in.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Been following this thread closely the past few days since I returned to this site, because I've been on the fence. I think I'm going to save my $300 and get the Wii U version. It looks too damned close for me to justify a console that I won't buy another game for til Mario in a year.

    Oh hi guys

    Missed ya.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I don't care to google for you, but 1) 30 years ago he said he wanted to do 9 parts 2) At a interview he JUST did this week, he said in 2012 he was getting ready to make VII, but that's when he decided to sell to Disney instead.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

And I'd take Phantom Menace over ANH 2.0. C'est la vie!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

You mean bae? I feel bad for the guy. I can empathize. You create something that creates a lot of passionate fans. Not everyone is a Star Wars fan, but hey, you weren't writing for those people anyway. You're just happy that people really like what you've created. You then take a break...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

The amount of time you spend on my jock is concerning. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi... er I mean Ben...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

    You're trying too hard, dude.
  10. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

What's worse is that "Ben" wasn't even his name. It was a cover. If you really wanted to pay homage to the dude, name your kid Obi-Wan. It was clearly just fan service.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I'm not sure I buy the idea of him coming back in a Dark Side sort of way because his character "flow(s) back and forth between Darth Vader and Anakin." Umm... it DID, but that all changed at the end when he saved his son and redeemed himself. It would kill the redemption story if he can...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

That's actually not too bad of a comparison. I like all the above, but in this case EQ is my favorite. I felt WoW was lacking. I do love me some Vanguard though.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Nope. You would like to believe this, but I have no agenda. I wanted TFA to be my favorite of all. I thought it actually had a shot. But nope! And I'm still not bashing the movie. I've said numerous times that I liked it. I just like the others more, and felt this was a little safe and...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Have you not seen the numerous videos of him talking about the Force and the philosophy about the Jedi? It seems some of you are so butthurt by the prequels, you want to strip this guy of every good thing he's done. TFA is the ONLY Star Wars movie not to expand on or increase the audiences...
  15. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

In the opera scene from Episode III, he spelled things out beautifully, and the funny thing was, he wasn't lying. In his mind, he was doing the right thing.
  16. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I'm sure you have a point. They cut and pasted part of Alec's voice to get the initial "Rey" in there.
  17. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Ewan McGregor also reprised his role as Obi-Wan from the prequels during a part with Rey. "These are your first steps" was all Ewan.
  18. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

How relevant would that stuff actually be to these people, some 80+ years after the beginning of Episode I? Just off the top of my head, there was a reference to Clone Troopers, the flags outside of Maz's bar were taken from the pod races on Tatooine, specifically those of Anakin and Sebulba...

    Star Wars : Rogue One

You can't forget the Liam Neesons!

No, all I see is your misunderstanding of facts.
  21. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

People need to quit making shit up. It's the same Force. All movies are canon. This wasn't a "soft reboot." It was a sequel in line with I-VI, despite what you wish it may be.
  22. The Edge

    Star Wars : Rogue One

So people only speak poorly about the prequels on this board because of me? Aww, bro. Way to make me feel special! HUGGLES!!! And Merry Christmas.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Let's say she did train with Luke. That was over 10 years ago, and she would just now be starting to remember any of the training. It should have been a "your powers are weak" moment all over again because again, SHE HASN'T BEEN TRAINING. Kylo has. Non-stop. He also does have battle...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Look at you trying to be perceived as intelligent by using big words. /applaud None of that undoes any of my statements, which are all true. Your hate for the prequels, and your opinion about my taste in movies has no bearing on facts.
  25. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

So you agree with my statement, and you're just trying to be a douche? Thanks for clearing that up.
  26. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Glad to know that you're arguing that Luke going with his feelings on when to pull the trigger to blow up the Death Star is on par with Rey doing JEDI mind tricks, resisting mind-probing by a trained Force user, and not only wielding a lightsaber, but beating a Sith apprentice seconds after...
  27. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Clearly you missed, well, all of the prequels. In Episode II, we see dozens of Jedi get slain fighting droids. In Episode III, we see more get wasted by clone troopers. Godmode, they are not.
  28. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Using the Force in this context though is ignoring outside stimuli (computer targeting) and going with your intuition/instinct/gut feeling. It's nowhere near the leaps made in VII.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

    Star Wars : Rogue One

I bring balance to this board. There's too much negativity lurking here.

    Star Wars : Rogue One

Rumor has it we'll see Hayden reprise his role as Darth Vader in this one. Maybe even get some Ian as Palps again too. Would be nice to see them again.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I believe they stated Jango volunteered. He's a skilled hunter, so it was a good choice. Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas commissioned the clone army, although there's speculation that Count Dooku killed him and was posing as him. But 1) Darth Maul was dead by then, 2) Rule of 2, etc. You can't have an...

And if you notice, his jet pack is damaged from getting trampled. He tries to fly off before Mace decaps him, but no-go. So he could have escaped still if his equipment was working.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

You learn something new every day. I started the animated series, but only got a few episodes in before I got busy and put them on the back burner. Guess I'll have to revisit because Qui-Gon was my favorite character from Episode I.
  35. The Edge

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Qui-Gon was the first to learn how to commune from the "netherrealm" of the Force, and taught Yoda how to go all ghosty, whom passed on that info to Obi-Wan. Qui-Gon's body did not vanish, but he also never appeared as a ghost.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I think Palps wanted to turn Luke as well, because Vader was old hat and Luke was fresh blood. He hoped to repeat this:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Yoda vanished too. The only ghost that left a body was Anakin.
