No. Healers went OOM all the time, tanks died due to lack of heals, tanks lost aggro constantly. It was amazing. Healing took effort back then with canceling at the last second.

Tanks never die and never lose aggro, its all about mechanics and DPS these days. Also healers never go out of mana. So tank upgrades are pointless.

Classic multi-day AV was amazing. And when you got bored you just left the zone. Now AV is literally two sides trying to avoid each other.

It looks like EQdkp+ does a lot of the same stuff. I was digging through Kamien's github repo last week. There is an in-game addon for WoW that can take attendance as well for eqdkp.
