I'm worried about the Green Bay Niners game....

I was probably more worried about playing the offensive juggernaut Saints team last year that was hanging 50 on people every other week, but this game probably has more real risk involved. Why? Because of Aaron Rodgers.
I'm really excited for the game. There are a lot of questions going into it obviously, mainly Justin Smith, but I like the matchups just about everywhere else. Whitner and Leonard Davis seem to think Smith is at least 90% strength, so hopefully they're right. Also hope the week off helped Aldon work through his injury, because he's had a bad shoulder for 4 or 5 weeks now, and I think that's been the bigger issue with his production rather than Justin being out. Other than that, the 49ers match up very well on both offense and defense.

I like our matchups too. We have Dumervil and Von Miller going up against the tackle combo of a BigMac lover who hasn't played all season and Tubby McFalsestart the mental retard. Should be an easy day for big derpy Joe.

I think both NFC games will be very good. I also think the Ravens-Broncos game will be a lot closer than people are giving credit. I think Broncos will still come out on top, but this one is going to come down to the end. Looking forward to the Niners game the most.

Boston radio spent all week arguing with themselves.

Ravens beating the Broncos and the Ravens coming to Foxboro is the easier path to the Superbowl.

Broncos winning and Patriots going to Mile High will be a harder game, but if won will be a much more glorious game against Manning in his new house.

I think they forgot there is a game to play this weekend, which probably means Texans will win with career ending injuries for half the New England team.

Divisional round bros. RIP Alex Smith and Vernon Davis.

We were finishing up an acquisition when this game was going on. We had a TV in customer wait area with the game blaring. We had to say "fuck it", stop what we were doing and watch the 4 qtr. This was a great fucking game.

Agreed, one of the best games I've seen in a decade.

If the 49ers don't make it to the big dance, how much heat falls on Harbaugh for not keeping Smif in for the whole season? I get that ceiling, upside, etc, are all better for Kaep, but isn't the conventional wisdom to make changes like that at the end of season barring injuries?

I live on Gulf Coast, about 45-hour out of NO, and that game was nuts. We were at work watching it, and by the time that drive hit, we had maybe 60 people watching it going Crazy. They actually turned our cable off until Football season started again because no one was working, we were just watching Football.

Seattle and Denver in the SB btw

Doesn't matter, Harbaugh is in a no-win situation with his QB. He doesn't make the switch and they fall short, all the Kaep supports will throw the Chicago game in his face. If the Niners fall short now they are going to throw Smith's completion percentage in his face. It was always going to be Superbowl or take heat over the QB situation for Harbaugh this year no matter what.

Of course, Kaep could have a decent game and Rodgers could just go off for 350+ and 4 TD's...in that scenario there won't be much bitching over the QB situation, just wondering what happened to their mighty D.

I gotta admit, that clip makes Alex Smith look pretty good. I'm not a fan of either team so it's not a 9/11 moment for me or anything but I do remember that game, I just don't remember how sharp the 49ers were there. Funny how hindsight reveals things.

As a viking fan... I fully hope for Kaep to beat the Packers. A Packer loss and a free agent Alex Smith is basically all I have left to cheer for at this point.
