Hah, I could have seen the Phoenix, AZ TV stations doing that when the Cardinals were dogshit when I lived there in the late 90s (could go for most parts of the Cards history though). I always hated that there would be some big game on and we had to watch the Cardinals shit-show. It was pretty sad when the Cowboys came to town and there were 3 times as many Cowboys fans at the game as Cards fans.

So Seattle sports talk is blowing up about a couple of hits put on Skee Lo. The one where he was faking the read-option and another on the sidelines. Both were verified as league hits but Seattle still has their panties in a wad claiming the intent was to hurt the QB.

All I can say is "no fucking shit." First off, there is a difference between trying to 'hurt' and trying to 'injure.' Secondly, your LB's are trying to do the same damn thing when they get a chance to put a hit on the opposing QB's. This is football, violence is a part of the game. Complaining about a team putting some (legal) shots on your QB is like complaining that an MMA fighter was punching a guy to hard in the face.

I actually noticed those hits and thought Harbaugh must be really pissed that the league decided he was a fucking whiny ass bitch and as punishment he was going to hit the shit out of Wilson to prove a point, though his QB took just as many

.... Harbaugh repeatedly complained before and after the packer game about the rules regarding hitting a QB carrying out a fake.

So, he doesn't like the rules, doesn't mean he isn't going to tell his team to feel free to play with-in them. He suppose to put his team at a competitive disadvantage over principle?

I don't think tonight's game is going to be a blowout, but it likely won't be close either. I predict 17-6 Bengals over Steelers.

I feel like the Bengals are like the Chargers . They are on the cusp of being a decent team if they can only stop fucking themselves.

Ike Taylor is playing. AJ Green ain't doing shit.

Steelers are still probably gonna lose, but Taylor has had Green's number the 3 times he's played him so far.

Of course with Green that could all change in a single 80 yard TD catch.

Yeah, Green has only had one good game against the Steelers and Ike Taylor wasn't playing in it. Taylor has held Green to one catch twice.

I think it'll be a close game tonight. I'd even give Pittsburgh the edge if they were at home. Bengals 21 - Pittsburgh 17.

If they really wanted to hurt him, they would've gone for a shot to the knees. Laying a hit to his body like that was about the cleanest tackle I've seen recently.

I'm still waiting for the rule changes to get so ridiculous that you can't really tackle anymore. The head stuff is already in, but it definitely seems like the league is taking note of low hits now too. I imagine in 2-3 years, you won't be able to hit anyone at the knee or below. The game is getting uninteresting when you have a 5'9" guy running with the ball and crumpling up before getting tackled and there's nowhere to hit him but in the head (since defensive players don't want to go super low and miss the tackle and/or end a guy's career) and it's an automatic 15 yard penalty since the defenders can't warp through time and change directions.

There will always be shitty times where the rules get in the way. An example being the sack of Wilson last night where he was already basically down (cause he assumed fetal position) but the defender accidently grabbed hold of his facemask. The look on Harbaugh's face was just like, "God damnit, seriously? Fuck, I guess let's just get on with it." But everyone understands that rule. It happens infrequently enough that it's not a game changer.

The ass fucking the faggot Steelers will take tonight is going to be awesome. Did you know male tigers have barbed cocks? It just makes it all that much better.
