Chiefs are 3-0, and 4 of their next 5 games are at home. Next 6 games - Giants, Titans, Texas, Raiders, Browns, Bills. I could legitimately see them winning 4 or 5 of those 6 games. They could be sitting at 7-2, 8-1 or so after 9 games.

I think you underestimate the Giants and/or Titans or overestimate the Chiefs.

Still, the 2013 versions of the NFC East, AFC South, Browns, Bills, and 2 games against the Raiders are by no means a murderer's row. There's a reason why almost everyone pegged them as having the most improved record.

Whew. I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic about the rest of the season, but the Chiefs have to put together some form of running game to be next level successful.

They'll keep winning until they do a bunch of stories on "Are the Chiefs for real?". Then they'll immediately lose 3-4 in a row

Not surprising he and Von Miller are such good friends. Two of the best past rushers in a long time and both of them just keep getting into trouble over and over.

Watching the game last night... getting shit-canned by the Eagles has done wonders for Reids physique. How many fucking cranes did it take to lift that sack of shit out of the stadium last night.

Aldon Smith arrestedon suspicion of DUI this morning. /sigh

Looking more and more like this guys career is going to get derailed by legal issues.
I've never understood why professional athletes don't hire a chauffeur, or at the very least take a cab. You aren't hurting for money. After living large at the clubs all night and wracking up thousands of dollars worth of bar tabs, spend $50 on a cab to take you home. Christ, how hard is that?

Every team (or maybe it is the league) offers a 'no questions asked, no cost' ride service that is available to every player. Also the NFLPA just released an app for the players so that they could take advantage of Uber. A 49ers linebacker was just tweating about it encouraging players to take advantage of it this week as a matter of fact.

No excuse other than stupidity.

So much talent, so little common sense.
It's not an excuse, but there's no common sense there because they're not common people. They're surrounded by sycophants and yes men, have a lot of money, and are usually pretty young. They think they're invincible and never wrong. Anyone who would speak common sense has probably been pushed out of their life by all their stooges who just want to be where the money's at. Even the ones who had a rough childhood or never got any kind of preferential treatment can turn this way because that was just all the hard work and bullshit they had to put up with, and now that they're on top they don't have to live like that anymore. But yeah, they're still idiots.

Exactly, the reason it is no questions asked is because the NFLPA even tried to claim that teams would use the service against them when contract time came so to show them how fucking stupid they are they made the service no questions asked and isn't tracked who uses it. Imo the only way to curb this is to start handing down game suspensions for DUI's including first time offenders.
