I'm not arguing Glennon is the savior by any means, I'm just saying that his ceiling is clearly higher than that of Freeman only because with Freeman you know what you have and you don't with Glennon. I don't think Giraffe neck is the answer, but I am positive Freeman isn't.
I don't think we've seen Freeman's ceiling or know what he's capable of because the coaching in Tampa has been really bad. That said the horrible coaches have clearly given up on Freeman, so it's the only reasonable move left for them.

I also don't think Glennon ceiling is necessarily higher. Freeman is probably middle of the road at his best. I think Glennon at his best will be significantly worse.

I just don't know but I think he showed enough in college from what little I have seen to believe you have to give it a shot considering who you are placing on the bench in favor of Glennon. It's just one of those situations where you don't have much to lose and everything to gain.

I watched a lot of Freeman in college at K-state, they were always on TV here every weekend, and I've almost never seen a pocket-style QB with worse accuracy at the college level. Anytime Missouri played K-state, their entire defensive strategy revolved around letting Freeman throw as much as he wants. He'd constantly hit receivers around shin-level on crossing patterns, overthrow deep routes by 10 yards, throw balls 5 yards behind guys on slants. He was just brtual to watch. I haven't seen a draft pick that surprised me more in the last decade or so(outside of the annual WTF Raiders pick by Al Davis) as Freeman going in the first round.

The guy looks good at times, but his accuracy was just hit or miss. He couldn't complete 3 or 4 passes in a row in college for the life of him. One of them would just be a hideous duck of a throw

Have fun in the CFL Josh. Blaine Gabbert will be joining you there soon.

So ESPNs NFL show this evening actually had a feature on how Brett Favre's agent said that Brett is currently in the best shape of his life, biking like 50 miles a day and running another 4-5, said he could play tomorrow and be better than some of the guys in the league. They then went through a rundown of all the teams with real shitty QBs (Jacksonville, Tampa, Minnesota, Cleveland, Oakland) and Mark Schlerith(sp?) said that Brett Favre would be an upgrade currently for Jacksonville, Tampa, and Minnesota.

I can't fucking believe there is Brett Favre talk when the dude has been retired for 3 years now.

But seriously both teams want to get back to running the ball, the difference being the Niners have Gore and an elite running threat at QB. The Rams have a hurt 2nd year guy that is average at best and gave up 175 yards to fucking Demarco Murray last week.

To say I'm pessimistic about this game would be an understatement. I have a bad feeling the Rams are going to come out and try to establish the run and get behind big early for the 4th week in a row.

Double digit score for the Rams seems pretty optimistic.

Frankly, I think anyone posting more than 4 times about the Rams in a season gives this team more attention than they rightfully deserve. You can go a whole year here without talking about the Cardinals and that team is bound to at least have 2x as many wins as the Rams this year.

So stop posting about them. No one gives a shit about them, Sam Bradford, and whoever the other 10 guys on offense they got. I dont know who they are, their own fans probably couldnt even name 3.

What do we think about Tayvon Austin so far? They haven't found the right way to get him the ball in space yet but he's shown flashes.

And when is Bradford's huge anchor of a contract up? Curious to see how they handle that situation.

Every Bears fan on the forums probably wishes you liked another team. Plenty of room on this bandwagon bro.

Speaking of my beloved Chief's closest geographical rival, the Rams, where the fuck did Robert Quinn come from? Dude has been playing like an absolute savage. DPOTY potential right there. Dude has been crazy disruptive.
