Very similar to the bandwagon Steeler marketing as well.
True.

My boss is a "Steelers fan" and talks about the Lombardi's we won in the 60s. I might just punch him in the face and lose my job. Apparently some 3rd aunt lives near Pittsburgh so that makes him a Steelers fan. However this year, the bandwagon lies in KC~

Chief's D is ridonkulous.
I don't know why but as a Chiefs fan I've always preferred the strong D. Not so much Martyball per se where you fiddlefuck around and lose close games or how we sucked in the postseason so badly, but I just don't seem to like these super high-scoring games where the defense is porous and there is no telling if you're going to win/lose by 3 or 30.

I didn't mind Schottenheimer 'matriculating' down the field but RunRunPassPunt made me want to drive my car into a pond.

I need Peyton to throw a bunch of touchdowns to white guys, no Thomases allowed.

Also here's Edko's new avatar.

I'll start shopping good ones when the Steelers get over .500. Likethis classicI made for Itlan(I think) last season.

I loved Rex Ryan's post game comment of "It's about time we got a break" regarding the penalty. Completely ignoring that 3 of their 4 wins have come from 'getting a break' in the final minutes.

I hope Peyton ass fucks the Colts after their douche bag owners comments.
As douchey has his comments were, he didn't say anything that wasn't 100% true.

The Chiefs are good, but you're delusional if you think they're making the Super Bowl. Second round of the playoffs is as far as they'll go.

Yeah? How can you blame Manning for not getting you more than 1SB when you were a nothing team before he ever got there and did not support him with the proper guys? He dragged them to victories kicking and screaming. I don't even like Peyton and I think the comments were complete bullshit.

He had a back that ran over 1500 yards 4 times, 2 defensive linemen who are among the best pass rushers of the last decade, and 2 hall of fame receivers (among many other stud players). This idea that Manning was somehow the only player worth a damn on the Colts is ridiculous. The Colts were fucking stacked when Manning was on the team.

Look how they did when he was out a year, with all those same players.

How they finished pre Manning and post Manning says all that needs to be said. They may have had talent but they could not bring it all together properly.

Because if you actually read/hear what people say and process the information, instead of just taking what sports media tries to shove down your throat as a story, you realize Irsay wasn't throwing Manning under the bus, he was criticizing the teams personnel decisions. Was it poor taste in timing to make the comments he made? Sure, probably. But they were entirely true. When you're looking at the ultimate goal of an NFL team, Super Bowl Championships, having an elite all-world QB and throwing a lot of money at the offense has not been the best recipe for success.

Since 2000 when the Rams won their SB, you've had the 10 of the 13 Super Bowl champions have done so without an elite QB and at worst a solid, often elite, defense. 2x Ravens, 2x Steelers, 2x Giants, 1x Bucs, and 3x Patriots. And yes, when the Patriots won their 3 SBs Tom Brady was in no way a top of the line QB, in fact since he became a stat machine their SB record is 0-2. The other 3 champions were teams that had the All-World QB talent (Rodgers, Brees, Manning) but defenses that in the years surrounding the championship were awful, but in the championship year managed to be "opportunistic". So based on who the most successful teams have been, having a QB like Peyton and throwing your money at the offense is certainly ONE formula for winning, but it has not been the best.

So TL;DR: Bad timing? Sure. Wrong? Not at all.

Fox needs to grow some balls, that's 4th and millimeters, just got for it, show some confidence. It's the first quarter and your team averages like 40 pts a game, jesus.
