I think there is some nether region in there. A zone where you want to win, but still want someone on the other team to tear you up. That is my personal issue with fantasy. This is my first, and hopefully only team. I got pushed into doing it by my sisters husband on their wedding day. And this game is a perfect example of why I fucking hate fantasy sports.

I understand, but I just feel like the elation of my real-life team winning should always trump any disappointment from losing in fantasy. Like, if I was a Patriots fan and I had Decker on my fantasy team, I would be ecstatic that my defender just stepped in front of a pass intended for Decker and intercepted it. To each their own I guess, if fantasy actually does make you feel conflicted like that it probably really would be better if this is your one and only team. Football fandom is too enjoyable to have the fun sucked out of it by not being able to root for your team properly.
