And then went 16/41 and two picks against LSU. Can't wait to see which team wastes a pick on him.

-edit damn you foggy.

Here's to hoping the Vikings lose out so he isn't even in the discussion. I wan't nothing to do with him.

I could see him being decent if say he gets to go to maybe Houston? They are playing much worse than I believe they really are.

If JFF gets drafted by the Texans there will be a riot, especially if the have the #1 or #2 overall pick. I don't see them taking JFF that high, or even if they trade back for more picks in an attempt plug up more holes.

Picking Manziel in the 20s sounds like something Jerry would do to grab some headlines.

Thankfully it seems like Garrett has most of the control in the draft room these days, even if Jerry still makes the phonecall.

Whoever the fuck is in charge of drafting god damn TE's in the second round every year needs to be taken out back and beat to death with a swimming pool needle.

So Brown and The Ben(passing game in general) really seems to be finding their rhythm in Todd Haley's offense finally. Not getting sacked or throwing picks, getting the ball to receivers in space. Be nice if they had decent run-blocking, but after these years or O-Line atrociousness it's nice to see them playing well at all in any phase.

Garrett and Romo, supposedly. In a perfect world they would love to use 2 TE sets all the time but it hasn't really panned out that way because of their protection issues. I think Escobar could turn out well if he was able to just catch passes but since he is a shit blocker and Cowboys need TEs to block more often than not he gets stuck on the sidelines outside of redzone action.

I don't think Manziel is either boom or bust unless he's taken with a top 10 pick on a team desperate for a franchise qb. I could see him being average/above average. He does rely on his athleticism a lot, but even with faster defenses, it's not like his throwing is Tebow level.

Hopefully Garrett will be gone soon.

The big knocks apart from size are that his footwork is a God damn abomination, and while he makes good reads his decision making on scrambles is troubling.

Does he have great arm strength? I don't watch a ton of college football outside of Iowa State, and it's not like I'm seeing elite QB prospects there lol. Every time I've caught random plays from Manziel it always looks to me like he's making the right decision but just lofting balls in the air. Am I off base with that? It's certainly not based on any huge sample size.

His arm strength is average to good, but his god awful footwork means his velocity is inconsistent.
