Alex played well, the Chiefs receivers are ATROCIOUS. I would conservatively estimate that Chiefs receivers dropped another 50-75 yards worth of passes in this game. They did the same in the first game against Denver too. Probably cost the Chiefs at least 1 TD in each game, and that was pretty much the difference in each game.

I wish our offense looked like that. No hate on Alex. Its like everyone does nothing but watch red zone and their fantasy stats and then declare a guy like Smith to "suck".

EDIT: Yeah or its just SF jimmy rustles.

I never thought Smith "sucked", he just didn't deserve all the praise he was getting last year as if he was suddenly elite. His style of short safe throws with few int is great if you have a really good defense. It did take 2 int and a kick return for a td for them to even have a shot there at the end.

And he's definitely better than Kaepernick

What I hate most about Dalton is that almost every "bad" play isn't entirely his fault, but he's partly to blame for many of them. He played much better in the second half, which is typical of Dalton, but he didn't have to do much today. It wasn't your typical modern NFL game. The run game was so successful.

The only way this game has a meaningful moment in it is if someone gets injured and has to miss games making it easier (lol) on their future opponents.
