Listen Ambiturner. We all know you just started watching football, but LT was certainly a household name along with many other players on that Chargers team. They were consistently going on deep playoff runs for a bit.

I always think of Lawrence Taylor as Lawrence Taylor. When I hear LT the first name I assume is Tomlinson. When I see "LT" I think left tackle.

Household name means your grandmother knows who he is. I don't know any non football fans outside of San Diego that would have a clue who he is

Joke or just irony? They got passed the divisional round 1 whole time. I'd also love to hear what other Chargers from that team non sports fans could name

I may be crazy but for some reason I think Denver and Seattle both win easily this weekend. It just feels like too many people are on the Pats.

I think that is a distinct possibility, but I am hopeful it doesn't go down like that.

As I mentioned before, if Seattle gets ahead early and shuts down the 49ers it could turn ugly. However, I think the 49ers will play them better than they have their last two trips there, and will keep it close and possibly pull off the win.

Denver could jump out on NE early and blow them out, but I think that game is going to be close.

The more I think about it, between the way SEA plays defense in the secondary to the chippiness of the game, I think the SEA/SF game is going to come down to the refs and who gets what calls.

You're just a fickle little bastard aren't you? We are in a fucking NFL thread, talking football. What the fuck did you think I meant as "household" name? Like Michael Fucking Jackson? What the fuck planet are you on? When LT was at his peak he was on the lips of every NFL fan. Shut the fuck up , jesus man.

I think the 49ers are going to have to score early, get an early turnover, score again, and then get defensive stops. If they don't put themselves in a position that takes the crowd out of the game early, Kaepernick is going to get rattled again, and we'll be in for a long day.

My fault, I thought when you said household name that you meant household name. Lawrence Taylor, Tom Brady, Bo Jackson are household names. Tomlinson is not. If that's not what you meant then don't say it and you won't have to go into qwerty meltdown mode.

My grandma is in her 90's and doesn't even remember who I am, let alone any football players. Based on this information I have concluded there are no household names in the NFL.

Anyone think the price of tickets for Sundays game @ CenturyLink might cause some of Seattle's more vocal fans to stay home? Prices are currently at World Series levels at 400+ for a pair. Something tells me the loudest fans are going to be yelling from their apartments.
