People/shows who got robbed:

Michael McKean, Better Call Saul. I love Banks/Mike but Chuck really stole the season and acted his ass off.
The Good Place, Kirsten Bell, Ted Danson

shows that should have not gotten nominations:
Silicon Valley, season was pretty meh
Modern Family, its C-tier sitcom at this point. hasn't won in two years though
The Americans. Boring ass season.
Saturday Night Live. Outside of the Trump impressions does anyone remember anything?

Although I thought The Night Of was pretty bad John Turturro was great. Hope he wins.

I find it hilarious that broadcast television still hosts awards that shows everyone how much better non-broadcast television is than broadcast television.

Bill Nye the Science Guy got an emmy nomination for writing, for the sexual spectrum episode - the one with that cringe song

so yeah

Don't really understand breaking out "limited" series. If you're just comparing it to a single season of a regular series I don't really get giving it its own category. Also, shows like Fargo and True Detective are sort of in between.

I was not a fan of "The Night Of" but I would like to see Turturro win something for it. He was great.

SNL getting nominated for a bad trump impression tells you a lot.

They're still making modern family?

I thought that died on the vine. It started to get really really bad.

Hard call between stranger things and Westworld. I think maybe stranger things just because those child actors were SO good. You expect Hopkins to deliver.

you forget before Westworld, Hopkins was just playing stupid characters like Odin and and scary cops like in bad company.

I would say Stranger Things because it really moved the needle and captured the imagination of everyone out of left field.

So SNL gets their dick sucked for shitting on Trump? Is this going to be a bunch of political acceptance speeches from actors making $500,000 / episode and live behind 12 foot walls in their mansion/compounds? :)

The Bill Nye nod is worse than SNL.

I'd wager a billion, jillion dollars kevin spacey wont win. Lolz that he was even nominated.

I do predict julia lois dreyfus will win though, they love giving awards to cancer survivors.
