If the Rams can't take care of business tonight then I'm not sure I'd still call them contenders. Can't afford to drop games against bad teams in your division. Would almost certainly relegate them to no better than a 5 seed. Losing Woods is a big deal for the offense though and can't just easily be replaced by someone that hasn't been in the system for as long as he has been. Rams can't afford to lose any more crucial pieces.
Rams have their destiny in their control after the AZ loss since they play both GB and AZ going forward so I hope they're not looking past a team that has had their number the past couple of years. (then again we've completely owned AZ until this year and one game has caused everyone to completely forget that)

I do think the cowboys will suffer through two McMuffin Brainfarts down the stretch, but they do have the easiest path to a top seed if GB loses to the Rams (very real possibility). This could be one of those years where it comes down to third tie breakers for seeding. Cowboys will absolutely need to broom their division to get top seed, though, which is likely despite the Redskins suddenly looking competant.

Cowboys schedule doesn't seem like a cakewalk. They gotta play the Chiefs, Cards, Saints, and 2x vs WFT that just embarrassed the Bucs.
Hard to imagine them not dropping a game or two. Saints D is no joke. I mean, I prefer that to the Rams schedule but what can you do.

I really hope that's the way this game goes. I actually do have a personal rule of thumb. In order for me to believe a season has real potential we gotta take it out on the Niners. In 1999 when we shit on the Niners after so many years of getting owned I knew that season was going to be great.

Looked like he had space to me, though it would have at least been contested. He gave up on the play when Stafford was looking the other way.
