Fairly sure there is no way that should be at the 20, the Patriots player muffed the punt and it hit the pylon. If you could just throw the ball backwards through the end zone why would you not just do that?

Man, 49ers and injuries are apparently a never ending thing.

Jimmy G out at least a couple weeks it sounds like. Trent Williams has a seriously potential shoulder injury of some sort. Sounds like he was kinda emotional on the sideline, and that's never a good sign.

Fuck me.

Suck that he didn't last long enough to try and get SOME sort of trade value out of him.

I mean he might be a decent enough backup with a franchise that doesn't have trash tier strength and conditioning staff, although it might be unfair to trash to equate it with the Niners.

Most smart 49er fans are clamoring for Lance because we already know what we have in Jimmy, and Lance isn't learning shit on the bench. If Jimmy isn't going to elevate your team to a win, what is the point of leaving him in?

This isn't the Jets or Jaguars and throwing a rookie QB to the fire. The 49ers have some offensive weapons, and a decent OL. Go put Lance in there so he can learn, and at least you get the upside of his mobility and big throw ability.
I'm not saying you can learn everything on the bench, but you can learn a lot. Young and Rodgers certainly did. I just don't think being almost 3-0 is a time to make a QB switch. 0-3? 2-5? Sure, why not? But replacing a QB that hasn't done anything to lose games is retarded - remember Alex Smith? Gets hurt in a Rams game, never plays again for us and was doing fine.

Anyway, it's moot now, because Jimmy G(lass) is hurt again.

Belichik is losing it. Dumb decision to kick a 56 yarder in a hurricane and even if he makes it he leaves 56 seconds for Brady to get in FG range.

Dumb dumb decision

What? Surely you can't be serious.

100% agree. Why you would kick a long ass field goal in that weather instead of going for it is crazy. Because even if he does make it, you still give Brady the ball back with like a minute to play.

Yall are so dramatic.

It wasn't a bad decision, it literally hit the fucking post. He obviously trusted his kicker and it was a few inches away from being 3, not like the ohmahgawd "hurricane winds" pushed the ball 20 yards short or to the left/right. He could have gone either way and the decision would have been fine imo, I dont see any problem with it given how fucking close it was.

And its not like the Bucs were running up and down the field in that weather either (lots of drops etc)
