You're laughing big for someone whose team won't even make the post-season.
Next time the chiefs lose 4 Super Bowls in a row I guess you could be right.
Also I was laughing at the historical implications of the Cowboys beating them in the SuperBowl yet again doofus. I know the chiefs blow.

I'm actually planning on watching Titans games first with Miami sucking because of Henry. He might be the last workhorse back the league we'll see for a while, and I cant remember seeing defenders looking like they don't want get run over trying to tackle a guy. If you dont watch now I'm not sure when the next time we'll see something like this again.

If he makes it a 3rd year in a row of 2k+ rush yards, what else would he need to do to be a lock in the HoF?

I really wish Titans had used AJ Brown at all in the 1st half. Had him v. Diggs last night with a slim lead going in. Diggs getting in the end zone killed it.

Yeah, I honestly thought Gore might be the last HoF RB we have for a long while, but Henry is definitely on his way if he can string together a few more big seasons, especially in this era.

Not very likely to happen, but Bucs - Titans could be an interesting super bowl just for the Immovable Wall vs Unstoppable Object aspect.

You could make a damn strong case for the hall of fame even if he hung it up after this season.

Dude has a 2200 yard college season, a 2000 yard NFL season, a string of ridiculous playoff games where he almost literally carried the entire team on his back, and has already had a number of “all time nfl highlight” type runs to his credit. His stiff arm and trucking ability are already legendary.

Henry has 10 rushing scores and the most rushing yards through 6 games in NFL history.

He is having one of the most dominant stretches in NFL history at the position.

If he continues to dominate through the season and finishes over 2k rushing yards again and breaks the carries in single season record, hes getting a jacket.

He is the first running back I have ever seriously considered comparable to Jim Brown in his prime. Sucks for him he is not on a real team.

Also, Bills were retarded to go for it there. They had all the talent edge on their side for OT and that's what usually wins out. You don't bet the entire game on that shit, ever.

Na,

Titans are a legit team, they will win their division.

4th and 1 to go for it and the win was the right call. Josh hits that 9 out of 10 times. Oline fucked up and double teamed the wrong side and Dawkins got pushed on his ass.

Titans had scored on the last 5 drives, Bills D was out of gas. If the titans win the coin toss they win the game. Henry was not going to be stoped. They had to go for it.

The loss sucks, especially going in to the bye. We will see them again in the playoffs as both teams will win the division.

When I first started hearing about Henry, I thought "Got damn, how old is he? That motherfucker's been playing forever. But good for his old ass gittin shit done."

Then I looked him up and saw he was in his 6th year. A veteran, but not an old timer. Today it hit me that I was thinking Travis Henry because I remembered him taking over for Eddie George (there was a gap between them, but whoever filled the gap sucked). Right about then was when I stopped paying attention to the Titans. I went to a lot of oiler games as a kid so I kinda followed them for nostalgia reasons. I think George and McNair were the last oilers to move on so after that I had trouble giving a shit about them.

Anyway, I thought I'd share. If it was still Travis Henry, he'd only be in his 20th year. I think you can see why I was so impressed.

Henry also didn't have a lot of miles on him his first couple years. Titans waited a bit before letting him take over the backfield with Murray having been there, etc.

First he has to have a second season in a row of 2k rushing yards.

Though 17 game seasons will probably make that less of an accomplishment than in the past

He's reasonably likely to have 2k this season. He's on pace for over 2200 yards and 28 TDs right now. There's a few short career monster RBs in the HoF. Terrell Davis and Gayle Sayers come to mind. And we don't know how long Henry's career will end up. He could end up with a decently long career like Peterson and have 15k yards plus this ridiculous peak.
