OBJ has to grow the cancer first. He'll be awesome this year and then be a shit stain next year. I would rent him for this year and then dump him before he fucks up the locker room.

Or he will ball out this year, and some team will sign him to a mega contract in the offseason, and he will either get hurt or burn bridges again.

Gotta say I'm shocked. I can see the argument that signing OBJ keeps him off other contenders but it's going to be hard to find targets for this guy. There have already been 9 games played so he comes in not knowing the system over the 3 guys that are playing the majority of the snaps right now.

So you put in some packages for him and he's essentially WR 4 at least until he gets up to speed.

Hard to imagine him being happy with that role but on the other hand there isn't much season left and injuries could happen at any time. I'm not too worried about the locker room, DeSean didn't derail anything he just got cut. (outside of what this does to Van Jefferson, can't be fun to have a guy coming in halfway through the season that might be stealing your role)

I'd say its put up or shut up time for him but who am I kidding, he'll get signed somewhere next year regardless of what happens here.

Yeah I think the chances of him getting super upset, or upsetting the locker room, are pretty low. The season is half over so he can't have sky high expectations, and worst case scenario he is a #3 or #4 WR and gets a ring out of it.
