The 49ers spent WAAAAY too much draft capital to not dump Jimmy. Even if he won the Super Bowl. You basically have to start Lance or fire Lynch for being an idiot and not recognizing what he had.

That doesn't change the fact that Jimmy G is the best QB we've had since Young and 49er fans are going to find out real quick that the problems on this team are defensive, not Jimmy.

Could he have made some better throws? Yeah, of course. Even the GOAT has shitty games, look at the Saints game for reference. And honestly, this was a game I had as a loss at the start of the season anyhow. I'm honestly pretty shocked it was so close. We've lost by a cunt hair to some of the best teams in the league and even beaten a few. The only games where we looked absolutely horrible offensively was the Cardinals game against fucking McCoy and the Eagles game.

If the defense doesn't give up 1st downs on the 321 3rd and longs the Titans had, this game is a win. That secondary is just absolute trash and rather than going "all-in" on a fucking QB out of goddamn North Dakota who played about 5 games, when they already had a solid one, they SHOULD have invested in drafting CB, signed a big FA, etc.

Like I said, blame Jimmy all you fucking want, but be VERY careful what you wish for. Lance probably gets us 5 or 6 wins next year, wouldn't be shocked if that results in Shanahan and/or Lynch being ousted, and now we're right back to "rebuild" mode with some of the best defensive/offensive players we've ever had, wasting away.
I agree they spent too much to draft Lance when he was a complete unknown. They are going off potential, like I said they were swinging for the fences and it may very well not work out. We will see. But is is quite clear, even if Jimmy is the best we have had since Jeff Garcia, that he simply isn't the answer. He has way too many WTF moments to ever rely on him to carry them when needed.

And yes, the defense, specifically the secondary needs help. But holy hell 20 points should be easy to overcome, especially when 7 of them was gifted by that shit interception. The 49ers should have been up 21-0 early on, and then they could have played ball control from then out and gave the defense more rest. They didn't do that, because Jimmy threw away 14 points.

Week after week you prove that you know nothing about football or anything else in life.

Just a terrible story. Doesn't sound like anything too crazy either. Just a shitty situation.

Nothing too crazy, just driving 100+ mph down a road probably not suited for the speed.
A couple hundred feet is only 40-70 yards. At normal highway speed you cover that ground in a couple seconds. Stop being sensational.

I'd have to see the road/situation to judge how reckless his driving was, and how fast he was going over 100. At just a 100 most roads are manageable... when you get up to like 160+ on an open highway, that road better be built for it. You feel alive when you're driving that fast, but if you aren't retarded you also have a very big respect for how fucked you are if you or even someone else on the road fucks up.

I'm suspecting alcohol played a contributing factor.

That TMZ article says they don't think alcohol was a factor, but the idea it took multiple tree hits and rolled certainly sounds high speed and clearly out of control

We'll have to wait for the full crash report, but if that's the stretch of highway he crashed on, he could easily have been going normal highway speed (65-75) and since the trees are so close the road, if he gets distracted and the car just veers off the road for a split second, it can get pretty bad. Obviously high speeds of 100+ aren't out of the question, but it's not like he had 100 feet of open field before hitting a tree.

He's a black professional athlete driving a high end sports car, even if he had some buddies following along behind him I doubt he was carefully adhering to the speed limit.

On the other hand, maybe his passenger just wasn't wearing a seat belt and he was.

Rams activated Cam Akers, pretty amazing recovery time.

Of course now Whitworth is on the covid list despite being vaxxed and having had covid before.

I think the reason people think 100+ is the lady who died retweeted someone commenting about the driver going 100+ right before dying or something similar.

So they've missed a holding on the interception and a face mask on the sack so far. Solid officiating once again.

Where is the source for that? I don't see anything out there.
