I didn't watch a lot. There were still some high scoring games without defense. Kansas-Texas, Tx-Ok, TT-ISU. Lots of games weren't close, then one team explodes for a lot of points in one half to make it close. Just because most games were in the 60s-70s total score doesn't mean they were suddenly defensive battles. Why watch them when the SEC is available?

He's an upgrade over Goof, but Stafford can't get it done when it matters. If he had played for a better team instead of the Lions, I imagine his career would've looked similar to Peyton's/Eli's - a bunch of early playoff exits while managing to squeak out a Super Bowl or two on the back of his defense.

Steve Young suffered a similar fate, but unlike Pey Pey, he actually went the fuck off when he finally made it to the Super Bowl.

I hate being on the same side with Alex Alex on anything but I love me some Burrow. One of the best stories in the NFL (same for Herbert). By extension, I’m glad stone hands Chase is dominating as well. Go Bungles!!
