NFL should be ashamed of themselves with their product the past couple weeks. This game is a fucking joke.

What tie breakers are fucking the 49ers that the eagles can clinch but they can’t, despite having a head to head victory and the same record?

I've watched every Cowboys game this year and I am beginning to think that Cedric Wilson and Tony Pollard are the two best players on their offense.

Copper is better than either but Dak usually forgets he's on the field.

This board has discussed this over the years - it pretty much all boils down to division games also hitting your conference record.

Two Clubs

  1. Head-to-head, if applicable.
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

Three or More Clubs

(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)

  1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
  2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Basically, if you are in a rough division, not only does it hit your overall win / loss record, but those losses are in-conference and further hose your chances for the conference tiebreaker. It's my biggest issue with the NFL tiebreakers, that division record factors so heavily,

I know its only the Vikings, but we are executing perfectly in all phases tonight. Bucs are the one team I think can come into Lambeau and win (they are built against all of our weaknesses), but anyone else is going to have a rough time playing us in the cold. AFC is a shitshow, but I think if the Titans go to the SB (especially if Henry is back), they are the one AFC with a really good shot at beating whoever goes from the NFC. My money is still on Tampa Bay, assuming the late season injuries and AB drama don't mess with them.

Cowboys predictably looked like hot garbage against a playoff team and if things stay the course, they will get another helping of the Cardinals in round one. Eagles will be up against Tampa by the looks of it and Rams will host San Fran. Going to be a very weird playoffs, however it shakes out.

Had to turn this game off, ugh. How is Zimmer still a HC
He was pretty good at beating McDoofus for a couple years. The rest of the NFCN is desperate for any coach who can win against GB the same way the AFCE was about the Patriots for all those years. Denny Green hung in there forever for the same reason.

It's going to be glorious when the Cowboys beat the Cardinals in the rematch and all you "one and done" assholes have to eat a mountain of my shitposts.

As soon as Rodgers retires GB will be just a shit as the rest of the division. Having back to back hall of famers really fucks over the rest of the conference haha.

PATS need a miracle, but could end up as the 1 seed next week if titans chiefs and bills lose and patriots win, they would have the bye and home field thruout playoffs, not gonna happen, but damn this much flex in order to end the season is nuts.

Bills Bengals win and chiefs titans lose Bengals 1 seed
Titans win they 1st(most likely result )
Titans lose chiefs win, chiefs 1st
Bills cannot be the 1 seed in any scenario weird.
ravens or Steelers are not eliminated from playoffs yet.
Colts win and both are out
Colts lose and chargers win, both out, but If Colts lose and raiders win, then the winner of the steeler/ravens game is 7th seed.

Brees got hurt and almost never played again. Rivers got his probably 1 serious injury for our one shot at the superbowl. Been a poop show ever since.
