Burrow put up comparable stats to Mahomes and Allen while taking snaps behind a line of turnstiles. He was more accurate and had fewer overall turnovers than either of them.

Burrow 2021 stats: 16 games | 70.4 pct | 4,611 pass yds | 8.9 ypa | 34 pass TD | 14 INT | 118 rush yds | 2 rush TD | 5 fumbles

Mahomes 2021 stats: 17 games | 66.3 pct | 4,839 pass yds | 7.4 ypa | 37 pass TD | 13 INT | 381 rush yds | 2 rush TD | 9 fumbles

Allen 2021 stats: 17 games | 63.3 pct | 4,407 pass yds | 6.8 ypa | 36 pass TD | 15 INT | 763 rush yds | 6 rush TD | 8 fumbles

Herbert 2021 stats: 17 games | 65.9 pct | 5,014 pass yds | 7.5 ypa | 38 pass TD | 15 INT | 302 rush yds | 3 rush TD | 1 fumble

The two old men, for reference

Brady 2021 stats: 17 games | 67.5 pct | 5,316 pass yds | 7.4 ypa | 43 pass TD | 12 INT | 81 rush yds | 2 rush TD | 4 fumbles

Rodgers 2021 stats: 16 games | 68.9 pct | 4,115 pass yds | 7.7 ypa | 37 pass TD | 4 INT | 101 rush yds | 3 rush TD | 3 fumbles

Burrow having the highest completion percentage while also having the highest average per attempt by a significant margin while being behind a really shitty line is pretty nutty.

This aged well. I don't want to be a prisoner of the moment but I think Mahomes and Allen are officially the best QBs in the league now. I don't watch many Bills games but damn did Allen look like a stud tonight.
Burrow and Herbert both have better arm talent if they ever actually get real teams behind them (Bengals are closer, but that OL is ass). Allen and Mahomes both take way too many shots. That's cute at 25, but the body gets really fucking sick of it by 30.

Jesus christ, only a niners fan could watch the last two seasons and try to ay Burrow and Herbert, who ill admit are amazing young QBs, have definitely better "arm talent" (which is a term fags use by the way) than Allen who has had RECORD breaking seasons enough to put hios dual threat status in the Hall of Fame Already, and Mahomes who has an MVP, a Super bowl, and 3 straight championship games.

How can a fanbase who has Montana and Young be so retarded at QB evaluation

Why do people keep saying shit like this about the Bengals? They're in the fucking AFCCG. There's plenty of players around Burrow that make it a "real team". Fuck look at yesterday. The defense is what really won that game. The special teams were pretty fucking important too.

I feel like the Bengals could win the Super Bowl and people would still find a way to discredit them.

Bengals have the Best Young WR in the NFL

Another first round stud

TYLER BOYD who is a 1000 type guy who pushed down.

Mixon

He has arguably a top 5 weapons set of all QBs, shit line sure, but thats why you see some baller stats, or part of it

You're in the wrong thread. The off-season thread is the one you want to be in.

Mahomes doesn't really take a lot of shots anymore. He slides almost all the time in the regular season. I don't think he takes any more hits when Burrow is getting sacked twice as often. Allen definitely does way more designed runs and doesn't seem to slide much, but he also gets sacked half as much as Burrow.

Kinda of a weird way to phrase it when he's near the top in most categories. (look at dem turnovers!)

Yeah, my bad for not IMMEDIATELY sucking the dick of a dogshit, basement dwelling franchise that has perennially been 4-12 for the past 30+ fucking years. You're going to have to forgive me for not immediately jumping on the fucking bandwagon after ONE good season.

I literally just got done praising Burrow as being one of the two best passers in the NFL, but yeah, your OL is world class and I'm just not giving it enough credit...

I saw Mahomes take at least 4-5 good shots in the Bills game alone. You realize all that scrambling shit takes its toll, right? Just because you aren't doing QB draws or "designed" runs doesn't mean you aren't still getting smacked by rolling outside of the pocket every down. Give Mahomes another 3-5 years on those legs and we'll see how many of those he "avoids", ok? Russell Wilson is a good barometer, since they're almost the same QB.

So at least 7-8 more years of dominance and then one season that was still good but not up to previous standards where he misses the first games over that span? Doesn't sound that bad. And that's assuming Andy Reid decides to completely neglect the offensive line like Pete Carroll did.

Kirun is a troll I think. Has to be.

After all of these close as fuck games in the playoffs this year, basically all of them coming down to a last second field goal, teams are going to start evaluating games differently as far as play calling and game management. The entire game is coming down to the very end, putting huge pressure on defenses and special teams.

I think we are going to see a new philosophy when it comes to taking chances in order to step on a teams throat when having a lead. You will start to see more teams like the Chargers, going for it on 4th down more, as well as being much more aggresive when taking a lead.

Instead of playing sound football and just controllong the clock when you get a lead, teams are gonna start being scared of losing by a field goal at the end and end up being aggressive instead. Trying to put the game away early.

I mean, there's already been a huge change in the way 4th down is approached from just ten years ago. I know everyone thinks the Charge coach was a dipshit (and I think the one they failed on was too risky a call to make) but they're not in the game without the other fourth down completions, either.

I think a lot really depends on the context of your team and game, though. It used to be everyone was ultra conservative and it's just now finally starting to reach the point where they're making more intelligent and calculated risks, but there's always going to be teams and situations that overdo it on the risk side.
