If Mahomes wins another one this year, I'd say he has definitely stepped into the realm of "dominant".

It's still "easier" to dominate in that dogshit division he plays in though. I hope Denver scoops up Jimmy G. Between him and Herbert, you guys won't have a free 6 wins anymore.

AFCW is the second best division in football.

He's a good enough QB, and like Kirun said the best the Niners have had since Young. He plays above the Dalton-Bridgewater line which is usually the best you can hope for in the modern NFL.

Not saying it's the best metric, but Jeff Garcia went to the pro bowl 4 times and maybe the competition is tougher now but I don't think anyone's ever even thought about voting for Jimmy to go to the pro bowl, even in the superbowl year. Garcia certainly didn't have the defenses that Jimmy has, although he had Rice + Owens to throw to in his first year.

Aren't the Saints in cap hell, though? That could make things rough. I forget how easily they can dump Taysom Hill's contract.
I refuse to believe the cap is real, but you have a point. Still they have a good coach, nasty defense, and good offensive pieces. Nearly made the playoffs with total garbage at QB and that division is weak as fuck. We'll see how good the Bucs are another year down the road. They were pretty beat up this year and it showed. The Saints own the Bucs.

That game yesterday should have been an absolute blowout but the Rams put the ball on the ground 4 fucking times.

Nah the real excitement will be outside the Niners Vs Chiefs.

Jozu shanks kirun in the Sofi tailgate because he took the last beef rib I made.

Replace that with Alex’s chili or whatever the fuck they eat up there in WKRP land if Bengals win.

I don't put to much faith in it but Florio(think it's really about getting his new book sales) seems to think Sean Payton isn't gonna return for the Saints this coming year, take a year off then pop up somewhere else.

Garcia also had one of the 3-4 best WRs of all-time at his peak and even had the GOAT in 2000 (and while he was aging, he still had monster seasons when he had Gannon throwing to him vs. Garcia - which tells me a LOT).

THIS year, maybe. NFC West has been the best division in football for a decade.

Why do people keep saying shit like this about the Bengals? They're in the fucking AFCCG. There's plenty of players around Burrow that make it a "real team". Fuck look at yesterday. The defense is what really won that game. The special teams were pretty fucking important too.

I feel like the Bengals could win the Super Bowl and people would still find a way to discredit them.
When the broadcast came back from halftime during the Bengals vs Titans game the announcer said something like "Give credit to the Bengals they are hanging with the Titans" I was like WTF we are beating the Titans not just hanging with them lol. Everyone treating the Bengals like the underdogs and it is giving the team a reason to play with a chip on their shoulder.

One of the main issues the Bengals have had in free agency is that alot of high profile guys never wanted to come play for Cincy so it was next to impossible to get a stud player. That changes after this season. Plus the Bengals have an insane amount of cap space to work with. They NEED to go balls to the wall and get proven OL help to protect burrow. There is a window of opportunity to keep this core group of players together while they are all on their rookie contracts.

I'm still alittle suspect on Zac Taylors offensive play calling. Our offense has a tendency to play flat sometimes and we aren't going to beat KC if Evan McPherson kicks 5 FG's that day.

Look at the brilliant QB play by Josh Allen, Burrow, Stafford and Mahomes....then look at Jimmy Garoppolo.....

LOL. But yeah Kirun, this guy is a good QB.
To be fair, Rodgers did not exactly do much better. All that dick waving and he could not manage to put up more than 10 points. At least Jimmy G had the excuse of not being used to the cold. Packers had a working running game and guys wide open all day. AR just could not take his eyes off of his boyfriend long enough to notice anyone else most of the time.

Yeah our red zone offense needs work. We've had difficulty almost every time the field gets short and the run game isn't working.

I'm not making the trip. If anything I'll go back to Cincinnati if we make it to the Super Bowl. Would love to be in town for that energy.

Go look at some of Steve Young's stat lines from playoff games. He laid up some fucking stinkers against the Cowboys and Packers in his day. I know it's shocking, but even the greats lay an egg sometimes.

Also, people are acting like I said Jimmy G is just as good as Steve Young and some HOF bound QB. I simply believe he's the best QB we've had SINCE Steve Young. That doesn't mean I think the guy is an all-time great.

I dunno, Gun to my head right now I probably take Smith (In a very small window of his last years in SF or KC) or Garcia over Jimmy. Hes literally never once done anything to impress me. Even when he was the "Hot young qb" in NE

Smith gets WAY too much praise for Harbaugh basically turning around his entire career. That kid was DOOOOOGSHIT prior to Harbaugh. Likewise with Garcia and his body of work - dude had two great seasons with SF because his WR core were all-time greats. He did jack fuck outside the '01 and '02 seasons.

Jimmy's only "bad" seasons have been when he was injured. First full season with the 49ers? SB. Second full season? NFCCG. Now, granted, you can knock him for being so injury prone and I would 100% agree. But, record don't lie and when he has a full season of work, the results speak for themselves.

I must have a bad memory, im looking at the stats for 2019 and his numbers are better than I thought. I could have sworn that team had an all time rushing attack and its really not that amazing. Mostert got hot down the stretch but damn I thought him COleman and Breida put up bigger stats. Still pretty good in todays game.

It was literally just the Green Bay game that made people think Mostert/SF was doing that all season. Outside of I think it was a Ravens game?, he was basically a 40-60yds/game guy.
