He's not wrong, any top 15 matchup (or top 25 rivalry game) in college will be louder than the NFL.
Maybe but pretty sure Seattle and Arrowhead still the two loudest in the world based on Guiness.

I remember when they were trading that title back and forth too. But they might have only been the loudest NFL stadiums. Plus, didn't they find out the seachickens were piping in crowd noise through the speakers?

They left out the “I’m far more worried about my offensive line getting me killed than a little noise” part.

The Giants had a problem with noise in Seattle too, asking for the NFL to investigate twice. They never did find anything like pumped in crowd noise

And then after the investigation was announced, suddenly they stopped setting records for crowd noise?

Whatever I decided to google it. Arrowhead is the loudest sports stadium in the world, not just NFL. They got to 142 dB. Tiger stadium has gotten to 130.

Seattle's stadium is so fucking loud because of the way the stadium was engineered to have a "reverb" effect, due to the angled metal roof and concrete seating.

Arrowhead is so fucking loud because it seats like 10k more fans than CenturyLink.

And it’s in a old giant parking lot next to Kaufman (royals stadium) on the prairie.

Yeah, I think I remember reading something at some point regarding its design too. It wasn't intentional like CenturyLink, but something about the seating bowl and how stadiums were designed in the 70s or some shit?

Now think college stadiums hold 20-30k more people

Yeah who knows probably. We’re never getting a super bowl I can tell you that much.

Out of curiosity, is piping in extra crowd noise actually against any rules? Is there a rule out there that says you cant have white noise generators buried under the field?
