Its hilarious because each teams fans can find some strange stat that paints a positive scenario for their team one way or another.

Can anyone explain why Kittle isnt the superstar pass catcher he once was? I understand Deebo is the focus of the offense now, and they arent throwing as much etc, but Kittle was balling out with Nick Mullens and Beathard. I dont understand why him and Deebo both cant have success.

Anyway, speaking of Mullens and Beat hard, one thing I was thinking about that bolsters Jimmy G's case as an above average QB (he hasnt even been average lately though) is the 49ers just cant seem to win when they had to start Mullens and friends.

That also leads me to believe that this 2021 roster is just better than the 2019 one. Could the 49ers compete this year if they had to start Mullens, or even say Colt McCoy or something at QB, do they make the playioffs? Because a lot of people are saying this 49er defense is so dominant, and the reasons they are where they are is because of everything EXCEPT Garoppolo. Well, Im not sure if this 49er team could win with a QB WORSE than Garoppolo quite honestly, and imagine how unbelievably good this team would be with a real QB like Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady or Allen?

Jimmy is clearly better than Nick Mullens and CJ Beathard. Those guys are not starting NFL quarterbacks and have never been on that level. It's possible to be head and shoulders above those guys and still be the worst QB in the playoffs.

It's not like Kittle hasn't had big pass catching games this year, though. He tied the record for most receiving yards over a 3 game stretch by a TE during this season if I recall correctly. Games where they run the ball a lot (because frankly they're damn good at that overall), he mostly gets used as a blocker, something he also excels at. Having Deebo and Aiyuk both healthy and involved (at least for part of the season together) means less target share, too. He actually caught the most TD's of his career this year, despite only playing in 14 games.

I remember something like this happening last year. Some kid in a hospital overlooking a stadium put up a sign on game day and then the fans for the other team donated assloads of money to the hospital? I Might be getting it confused with the dude who wanted a case of beer, but something charity related definitely happened.

I tried to search for the story and couldn't find it, but it looks like this sort of things happens quite a lot. 3 pages later on the google search and I was still in 2021. It looks like it's usually the bills fans donating to other team's charities. Now I'm wondering who's fans do this the most.
