That's Texan #2 to them now, let the Watson speculation begin

Kinda strange, wonder if Nuk being there was a factor.

Also sucks WFT gets Buffalo for 17th game.

And there it is.
Odd Move IMO. No Ring for JJ

$31mm 2 years, $23 Guaranteed.

Russell Wilson just put in his official notice for a trade. That is unless Seattle spends every pick they have on O-Line

So going to a team that if everything goes right you might be a fringe playoff team? They getting a new coach?!?

So JJs the dumb one of the bunch. The pay isn’t really amazing and the high guaranteed means Watt even questions if he could finish out the two year deal without getting dumped. Cards are better but ring better? Not close, at least not yet. I doubt Kingsbury gets them there either but a good signing for them.

Edit- JJ says Texas is home now. Can’t discount wanting to stay near her family and home. I guess

Man that 17th game really helps teams that had a down year like San Fran. Get another shitty team on your schedule while the Rams get to go play the Ravens on the road.

Bucs get the Colts. Lol. Glad scheduling is based purely off of W/L.

We've been drafting OL and bringing in guys... we aren't good at developing O line for some reason. Not anymore anyway...

So JJ took the money to join the third place team in one of the most difficult divisions in the NFL. Houston should have just kept him.

Watson to the Cards for Murray and all the picks they have for 3 years ….you watch..

They are getting the band back together!

This would be the worst case scenario.

(that said with that team you'd definitely not be getting top draft picks)

Dont worry about the 17 games being uneven thing, 18 games will be here in 2023 or 2024.

Yeah, they'll probably just make the division winners play other division winners so it'll get even worse!

Also, trade idea. JJ Watt, Kyler Murray, and Dhop for Watson!

Every professional observer on Earth thought the Texans would release him, as his salary wasn't worth it without a paycut, which Watt clearly has too much pride to take, hence his 'forcing' a release prior to being cut.

The Cards have to hope they get a good run of health out of Watt, as his salary will hardly help what is on average the fourth place team in the division...
