Hopefully this game will finally put a spotlight on what a dog shit RT McGlinchey is, especially in pass protection.

Geno Smith playing well was the last thing I expected this season. Pete Carroll is the real winner in all of this, as much as I hate his pompous sideline antics.

Why would you not take the 3 points there? Pittsburgh has rarely shown life on offense all night except for 1 drive.

I said the exact thing. Why pass up the opportunity to go up two possessions?
Too much analytics being taken in without context. All the % chance to win is basically an average and doesn't seem to be accounted for based on your opponent. If you're playing the Bills or Chiefs? Yes, you probably want to go for it because you either get TD's or you lose. But if you're playing a team with an anemic offense? Separating by 3 more points is almost like asking them to perform a Herculean task.

The best QB on the field for Miami tonight was Kenny Pickett. Honestly I'm just grateful Tua made it out alive, but he doesn't look like the same QB that won us the first three games this season. I'm hoping it's just rust.

I think average fans are starting to realize Jimmy G is fools gold. His heat chart over the past 5 seasons is hilarious its literally a red blotch over the middle of the field and everything else is deep blue.

Ita not hard to put the breaks on an offense when 9 guys can just clog the middle of the field. Its even worse in the redzone. What is amazing to me though is that the 49ers were the BEST redzone offense in the league last year. What the fuck happened?

On the bright side, CMC seems to be as advertised. I was surprised how much they used him in the first game. He's a bit different than the 49ers other play makers in that he's going to make the first guy miss with speed and quickness as opposed to just running over the first guy like Kittle and Deebo. I was also glad to see Bosa looked like he was healthy even though he did get two penalties for lining up in the neutral zone.

That they were back to back penalties was baffling.

As much as I think Jimmy G is a mediocre QB at best, that O-Line was basically non-existent the entire game. Compare the time Mahomes had in the pocket to Jawline Jimmy and its no contest. That safety was a prime example. That being said, RomanceNovelCover Jimmy makes rookie mistakes constantly while under pressure, and apparently doesn't know when to just take a sack or throw the ball away.

Also, Tua looked fire in that first drive. I actually commented out loud "Has Tua missed a pass yet?" and then the wheels started coming off. I think when he hit head-first on a tackler he got in his OWN head. I turned it off just before the half, and looking at the score I missed nothing lol.

No matter how much I white knight the guy, one huge criticism of two-time Super Bowl winning QB Jimmy G is his pocket awareness. The dude literally moved up, INTO a sack when he still had a perfectly clear throwing lane.

He's easy to rattle early and he'll panic the entire rest of the game. It's one of his few flaws.
