Carroll needs to be gone at the end of this year if they're genuinely starting a rebuild. Maybe sooner.

Maybe Trubisky

I doubt we trade for a QB or draft one. Im guessing we trade on of our first round picks for more draft picks in an effort to rebuild our talent pool. And the Seahawks just suck next year.

Mitch is a free agent. And way better than Locke.

I know they've said they are gonna stick with Jones but I've been wondering if the Giants don't try and get Trubisky honestly.

Only in the NFL can you sign the richest contract in history and your cap number goes down.

easy, backloaded contract and bonus

sign get a huge bonus that is paid out over several years and have a lower salary for year 1, then bam the real numbers hit.

next year? the year after, new tv deal plus gambling money= cap is going to go up significantly.

I'm happy to see Denver finally get a quarterback, they must feel confident in the roster they have now.

Does Nath Hackett run an offense similar to Seattle's?

With all the good qbs off the market there is no way we trade Carr. AFC West was already hard and just got even worse. I don't think McDaniel has the leash to go crazy like Gruden did when he unloaded everyone. Carr has his moments both good and bad but without him we will have no chance.

last week the commanders told anyone who would listen that they had offered a massive haul for Wilson but that he wasn't going to be traded..
was clearly an effort by the team to say "sorry fans, we tried our bestest for a QB but they are not available. plzzzz still buy tickets"

I hope this trade shames the entire commanders front office into committing seppuku

Oh I bet they made the offer, I'd bet is was for more than the Broncos were giving even and Wilson just said fuck no to that.

apparently him refusing to come to Washington prevented Seahawks from even giving them a counter offer. they just said no.

he refused to come because the front office has built a garbage roster and completely failed. but the front office wants fans to see it as not being the teams fault, because they didn't even get a counter offer.

I wish they would just trade out of this years draft. let faggot paddleboat ron be the tank commander for a season or two. then lure in a real coach and gm with a bunch of draft capital.

Actually according to reports it wasn't, two 1sts and a 2nd with a player or two. Obviously depends what players were in the offer, but I doubt it was any of Young/McLaurin/Sweat, and anyone else on the roster is lesser value than Fant as a player imo.

Granted that all could be bs, but if they balked at adding another 2nd/better players I can understand it. Denver's roster is better than ours so they likely were willing to give up more assets to see what it can do with a QB (plus all the obvious Wilson not wanting to come here).

I think we should listen if someone like Pitt calls and wants to come up from 20 to 11 to pick a QB. Take their 1st next year and another mid round pick this year to move back 9 spots.
