I guess I just assume at this point that anything you're saying has snark behind it. If "this sounds like ChatGPT output" wasn't meant with condescension then I stand corrected.
I am 100% sincere in everything I say

That's actually terrifying.I am 100% sincere in everything I say
If Araysar isn't full of shit and has some suggestions about how I could use prompt engineering skills to generate income, I'd be all ears. I'm pretty fucking great at ChatGPT.
I might be wrong, but I think under disability you're still "allowed" to have a job or make money up to a certain point. A lot of people seem to be under the impression that you just flat-out lose disability if you work, so you "can't work" or whatever. But yeah, unless I'm totally wrong, you can work while on disability and still receive it. The cap is probably some low amount, like working 10 hours a week or something. If you found something to do every Saturday or something, it would be a good start on being more productive and maybe getting back into the swing of making money. You'd also have a bunch more money to work with every month. I'd aim at like $400 or something in month 1 and go from there.
Just some unasked-for financial advice for getting out from under the government thumb (which you're technically under even if it seems like they're propping you up, because what they give out is peanuts). Big difference between having $850 to work with and, say, $1250 if you bang out a workday once a week. And that's going off of minimum wage and a lot of guessing.
One of my older relatives is on some sort of social security / disability combination and makes an extra $500-900 a month from knitting winter hats/gloves for like 10 hours a week and selling them on Ebay, and the government doesn't SEEM to care at all. Makes a huge difference in QOL because if she sat on the couch all the time she'd be poor as dirt and probably sick.
Yeah part time wages would still allow me to keep my whole disability check. I tried cashiering for a minute but the fact that Americans have to stand on their feet the entire shift even for jobs like that made shit hard with my fatigue/pain. If there was a place that would allow me to cashier while sitting on a stool I'd be working tomorrow.I might be wrong, but I think under disability you're still "allowed" to have a job or make money up to a certain point. When I was still getting my pain med prescription I made an extra several hundred dollars a month selling part of my script. Not proud of it but I sold to exactly two people, a couple. The wife had chronic pain from an accident at the factory I used to work at, a parts picker robot malfunctioned and crushed her legs. And the husband worked 56 hours a week and mainly used them after he'd get home to help him deal with the pains of production work. Felt guilty but of all people I could sell to, they were some of the most morally "okay".He can always work under the table too. Like, say as a drug mule or a glory hole attendant. If he follows eraser's career path he might even one day make it into the lucrative field of *checks notes* being a lying sack of shit bet welcher on the internet.

Lol yeah when you're working at home you can get away with a lot more than when you're working a minimum wage entry level job. Go figure.I literally paid money for an electric standing desk to be able to stand while I work while the poors are complaining about getting this benefit for free.
Jesus Christ is there no excuse they won't pull to avoid working?

"I stand at a desk while I shitpost and pretend to work, do the poors really have it so bad?" yes, yes they doI literally paid money for an electric standing desk to be able to stand while I work while the poors are complaining about getting this benefit for free.

?? He could work as many hours as he wants. I think the limit is like $1200 a month between your disability check and your job. And working extra hours beyond that is still worth it, just not as worth it... Diminishing returns sort of thing. Still there isn't a point at which you make LESS money by working more. Excepting certain situations when you're in low income housing and your rent payment slides depending on how much you made each month. That's rare tho. And low income housing is so hard to get into in Michigan (I'm in the Thumb btw, just moved to Brown City, north of Imlay City) that odds are he's not in it...It’s something like 30 hours/week, at least here in Michigan. One of my employees bitches about it because he’s constantly running out of hours and can’t work some of his shifts.
You MIGHT be thinking about the number of hours a part time employee can work before the employer has to give them insurance benefits. I can't remember that number but it's somewhere in the 29-32/hr a week range. It’s something like 30 hours/week, at least here in Michigan. Try not to spell anyone's name wrong or invert the vote counts. What are you, Detroit??

If there was a job near me where I could get away with "working" while posting on FoH 100 times a day, I'd be all over it, trust me.Bro, you talk shit about me "pretending to work" but you can't even be bothered to do that
Not real work
Not pretend work
Not any work
Everyone that's going to vote on this round has already voted, and with the next round being the semifinals, pretty sure everyone already has their mind made up as far as which two people they're voting for.I thought there was no campaigning in these threads?
