As a whole the SEC is the strongest division. Will that change? Most likely, because now players will go to the college who pays them the most. Gone will be the days of having 5 Star Quarterbacks sitting on the bench waiting for their turn. If a player has talent, they will want to be paid. Welcome to the minor league of the NFL.It’s just a dumb take, isn’t it? The SEC is subjectively the best CFB conference. Not of all time, just in the last 15ish years. That will change.
Do they get the benefit of the doubt by talking heads, or does ESPN shill for them? Sure. That will change.
Even taking all of that into account, that doesn’t mean a SEC team won’t get overrated in the polls, or get stomped out in a given game.
I get it though, fan stands for fanatic.
We’re saying the same thing. As a whole the SEC is the strongest division. Will that change? Most likely, because now players will go to the college who pays them the most. Gone will be the days of having 5 Star Quarterbacks sitting on the bench waiting for their turn. If a player has talent, they will want to be paid. Welcome to the minor league of the NFL.
PS- Any division can have over ranked teams.....*Cough*..ACC....Miami
no kidding. Couldn't predict back to back 99+ yard pick 6
Oregon might be that team.Is there a single great team this year? I think not
There's that East Coast "I can't stay up past midnight" Bias we all love in college football. Is there a single great team this year? I think not
Looking at their schedule says otherwise though. I'm not saying they aren't the best team, but I am not sure they are great. They have had to squeak by some not so great teams.Oregon might be that team.
Their O-Line is ridiculously good.
A dumb and gay sport
