Look at that stout Bengals defense with the pick!Damn Bengals punted on the first possession. That's game already.

Statistics are meaningless without context, and context is meaningless without understanding.
It would be against Dallas in Jerrah's house...?I'm not one looking for flags all the time, but how do you miss a facemask that badly?

Meaningless!?!?! You obviously have never talked to Mike Tomlin. Mike, educate this fool! The Bengals could, if they make it past the Broncos, play a Steelers team that's locked into the third seed and taking a defacto bye week in Week 18... and end up with a meaningless 9-8 ("winning") season.

Tanking is never good. You build a team of losers like that. Anyone who doesn't quit while you are tanking needs to be fired. Coaches and players alike. It's one thing if you lose because you suck, but to go out and not even try? Get the fuck off the field.Bungles issues are so systemic that tanking for draft position is not going to help them. They need to overhaul that defense in Free Agency a bit and probably get a much more motivational DC. Tanking is mainly good for getting some young offensive player prospect who's career you can ruin ala Chicago, which is not their issue. The upside for them is good defensive players on teams with shit offenses are more willing to move to teams that already have a working Offense, because Defense is an issue that can be solved via trades and scheme/coordinator. Shit O Line or terrible QBs destroy teams long term (see Giants, Aints, Raiders, ect).
Man national games this year have felt especially bad. I really wish NFL would flex games every week into who gets the MNF and TNF games but I'm sure that would cause a ton of faggotry with the contracts.
It also fucks over teams, usually kicking bad teams when they are already down. Personally, I like an even game so I don't mind watching two shit teams go at it. Last nights game was actually a decent game decided by one crucial mistake at the end, which in my book is what football is all about.Man national games this year have felt especially bad. There are also teams that draw viewers and ads no matter how bad they are doing, either due to market presence or loyal fan base. Dallas is one of those teams, as are San Fran and Greenbay to a lesser extent. Dallas gets people to tune in just to laugh at their dumpster fire. They would have flexed this game out but they had that dumb Simpsons thing already prepared.
