So who's starting for them, Sam Howell?

Especially since the NFC West gets the NFC and AFC South next year, and would probably lock in two wildcards.

On one hand, I get it, it's the last year of his deal, and he'll probably want more than the Seahawks (or most teams) will want to pay in 2026, and Pete can get the Raiders front office to overpay, but this is a complete offensive tear down for the Seahawks at this point - Mike Macdonald has to be thinking "What did I get myself into?"

No idea.

Rumor going around Seattle is the Hawks were willing to give Geno about 35m, and he wanted more and thats why he was traded.

The Bengals defense was obviously in shambles and Hendrickson is about the only thing that was good about it, but I bet he's looking for a long term big time deal and the Bengals typically don't hand those out for dudes on the wrong side of 30. If Hendrickson gets a big extension, there's a very real chance he's not that good anymore for half of it.

That said, the defense needs him. We can't keep planning for long term. We need to win now while the offense has these pieces. Ownership still doesn't have a fucking clue while they've been given the greatest golden ticket in the world in Burrow.

EDIT: Although a rumor was just reported that they offered Trey 30-32M a year. And it's being reported that Tee is on a flight to Cincy right now. Supposedly to sign a long term extension.
