There is no question Shedeur is more talented than Tyler Shough so that just tells me Carr isn't gonna miss any time in them taking him, Tyler will never overtake Carr in the depth chart.
hm, I'm not so sure... Shough will be 26 by the start of the season, not quite the typical project QB, right?
Couldn't they take Jalen Milroe for more potential upside if they thought Carr would be certain to play this season?
Shough might be the "hey, if Carr can't play we have this guy" pick

Unless the next 3 picks involve a trade somewhere, I think Shadeur will have to be making another Instagram post.

And Shadeur-gate goes to Day 3. I would be SO happy if the NFL made him pick 257 (Mr. Irrelevant) and he turned into the next Brock Purdy.

I think Sanders fall is more from his attitude and entitlement. Deion certainly did not help with all of the statements made about where he was willing, and not willing to go...then had a jersey retirement ceremony for him etc.

Hes always been coached by his dad, and always had things his way. If I was a coach, I think bringing in Shedeur would cause many more problems than they would solve, because then Deion would want to be heavily involved as well.

Was Brock Purdy a pompous ass hole that no one had any respect for? Some one who on draft day had an entire shrine devoted to himself with his entire line of apparel?

So Rodgers announces he is a Steeler come Tuesday on McAfee show provided Steelers continue to not draft a qb?

I have been pretty chill watching football because for the last couple of seasons I know that a Miami Dolphins team with Tua as QB doesn't have what it takes to get through the AFC gauntlet against teams with QB's like Burrow, Allen, Lamar, Mahomes, etc.

Until now. Behold: MIAMI HAS DRAFTED FAT TUA.

Now there are 2 of them! We can have regular Tua wear a fat suit, and defenders won't know which is which. Now's our chance! We might win a playoff game for the first time in decades!

Was shocked to see the Seahawks take Milroe over Sanders. The only thing I can think of is maybe he told teams to not draft him if he doesn’t have a chance to be a starter from day 1.

Pretty sure no one wants to deal with that kids ego and the circus around him. Likely because they don't think his talent is good enough for that.

It's probably pretty good for him to be humbled. You say you're gonna be a star in this league? Better work your ass off and prove it, kid.

He might need to get cut / traded once or twice before it sinks in. People will ask, "why is the backup / 3rd string QB running his mouth so much on social media?"

With how this is going, Shedeur should consider challenging the NCAA eligibility rules in order to play college again, then go play somewhere that is not Colorado.

I don't really remember but I assume Deion at least waited until he was dominating in the NFL before becoming a media whore? I'm pretty sure the teams didn't like it then either but he was so good they were willing to put up with it. Before your play your first snap in the NFL is a little early to start.

I think there's some split between 'Superstars in the NIL era only after the fame of starting (since they already have their college cash)' and specifically 'Sanders being from the Sanders household'.

I expect to see more self-inflated superstars get their draft day comeuppance in the future.

A four round comeuppance!
