Because we have a legal system, not a justice system. He should of been tried as an adult considering the act of driving requires the same level of understanding or competence whether youre 16 or 32.

Of course considering this kid and family has had multiple encounters with the law and this still happens also says there is probably some good ole boy network shenanigans going on too.

I agree he should be tried as an adult and that decision making when driving is pretty clear cut : Am I impaired?(Yes/No), but if you were to take out the alcohol and it was vehicular manslaughter I think you have a clear case for discussing the relevance of driving experience and variability between age groups and it should be taken into account when finding suitable punishment.

Murdered 4 people and left one of his passengers critically injured and bedridden for life. Probably injured other ones of them too. Surprised he didn't get harsher punishment as one of the people he killed was a damn youth minister.

Video of him partying and not giving a shit to change his life around should (maybe?) fuck him over.
