Since we have a thread here about a french thriller, let me recommend one : Undercover / Enquête sur un scandale d'État (litteraly: Investigation on a State scandal).



Not an action movie, more of a political / journalism thriller with two pillars of french cinema: Roschdy Zem (as a shady fixer / former undercover cop turned whistleblower) and Vincent Lindon (as a police chief that took the "keep your enemies closer" doctrine a little too far). Based on true events too.
