They'll fuck this up. It isn't like anyone in Hollywood today understands what was great about either Alien or Aliens and how to recreate it. They'll most likely just use it to push female empowerment by making a Ripley clone as a lead, but without any of the things that made Ripley an actual great character.

This would make for a fantastic HBO series or movie trilogy, but these days it doesn't matter, they'd still fuck it up.

Fat chance of them following any of the comics. They'd have to go through 14 issues of the Dark Horse stuff total to set up and culminate with Aliens:Earth War. I'm not a comic book nerd, but when it comes to that shit, bitch I got every issue.

Neil Blomkampf was the last, great white hope to do the franchise justice, but then geriatric Ridley Scott decided to shit on anything there was for future films.

Sorry, still sticks in my craw. Just had this conversation with some buddies the other day about the TV series shit and the whole Aliens stuff in general.

Looks like in space, no one will not be deverse.

At least the main character is played by a fairly cute actress. I could swear I've seen her in something before, like one of the John Wicks, but according to IMDB she's only been in a few semi-obscure things.
