I posted with a guy on postfarm that lived in DC and got SUPER paranoid about his posts all of a sudden. They scrubbed him there too, I think.

And this was years ago before social media hit the assplosion. It was still pretty much nerd stuff, but WoW was begining to mainstream it. So, even though I thought he was crazy at the time... looking back on it... he actually saw it coming.

It wasn't the crazy sort of Jasker paranoid. It smelled like he was getting vetted. I think he even said in one post that he was going through the clearance process. But he wasn't military.

A forum that I've been a member of for 12+ years once had a member who was high up in a South American drug cartel and posted pics of his stolen cars and bragged about them. Not a real swift line of thinking. Uncle Sam already had him in their sights, and then he went off for a permanent stay in a concrete hotel courtesy of Uncle Sam.

I didn't follow his posts, but he was jovial and charming to some, but he had a lot of sayers of nay. Never once was there any indication that he used to hack people up with a machete just for shits and giggles. He could have easily ended any one of his forum detractors and no one would have been the wiser.

BTW I'd also like to say I think this is drama, but chaos chaos and IOOTI temper tantrum which led him to post to like 5 threads on the whole board and nothing else. Not sure if it should make the list, but I recall it went on for some time and still does to this day.
