precious is still alive for sure.

I expect Avril to stay dead. That was not much of a shocker to me at all. Fiona being obsessed with youth and not giving up her power. It was pretty clear on of the other characters would be the new supreme. which one it would be... was not of course. But I fully expected Fiona to kill the one it was. this show is not above having the "bad" guys win. having it this early, of course means more complications. does that power move on to someone new? again that would just put any of the younger witches in line. even the daughter, etc are possible. does Fiona keep her power now? Does that power just vanish, end of lineage?

Think Stevie Nicks might get the power. and now we have a crazy witch as the new supreme in coming. or, of course the protagonist girl might still as well.. barren daughter, precious, or downs girl are longshots I think.


Incest/child molest was definitely wtf. A bit of that shotgun of crazy shit from last season. Its ungrounding when EVERYONE is just awful and full of dark secrets.

but yea, the second i thought this was gonna be another voilet/tate ghost/love story (sorry i use season 1 names for zoe/kyle), it turns into weird ass incenst crazy mom, and wtf minotar fat voodoo chick?

why is he a minotar? didn't kathy bates just sew a boars head on the black guy? hows that make him a minotar? kathy bates was just crazy she didn't have powers, if anything black voodoo angela bassett gave black guy lover immortality (since he's still alive now) and made the head permanent and real somehow and likes to chain him up.

can't make sense of anything for now, just have fun on the crazy train.

Again, its not clear on how the witchs power work.
It was said again that witchs can have more then 1 power. "its not unsual for a talented witch to manifest 4 even 5 powers innate gifts when she starts to flower. only the mastery of the 7 wonders can prove that"
the "supreme" just has more then the rest. and 7 specific powers.

I think there might be a chance Fiona was too quick to assume Avril Levine was the new supreme just because she manifested pyro and presumably mind control.

(and going through the motions of hiring a younger actress to play a young Fiona might be a hint well see her young again.)

she didn't know avril(i guess we're calling her that now) had mind control, she was testing it to confirm imo. I think she just used her own experience of how she quickly rose to supreme and saw the same exact pattern in avril.

she probably wanted to take her out, to stop the power drain and maybe cuz she's also seeing that avril is a bit rotten too.

if this is the case, then how does plant lady factor into this? it seemed like she "held back" her powers if she had any, but it all just seems to come at you (like it did for avril)

Fiona was also jealous of avril's youth and beauty. I think fiona would have killed her on those grounfs alone. She was all sloppy drunk so she wasnt acting rationally. Not sure on the minotaur, cept that it looked cool. I also think kathy bates has powers. You cant be immortal without having some joojoo inside you, even if you were cursed.

i thought she poured out her drink to show she wasnt going to toast avril. usually if you pour out your drink on a toast or not drink alcohol or not drink anything at all, thats supposed to be bad luck and puts the whammy on that person. its old wives tale shit.

For a show that's not on HBO, it doesn't really hold back a whole lot. The mother/son scenes were just disturbing. I don't think the blonde really was the supreme either but I sure as hell didn't see her getting her throat slit. Pretty sure she's not completely gone though. This show is good because of the actors. Kathy Bates/Jessica Lange are great.

I guess I need to try to find the first episode. I was surprised to see the water head and the large black girl being witches. They look more like people the witches would taunt to the point that they hunted the witches down and slaughtered the entire coven. Slaughtered and ate.

Where have I seen those 2 before? This is the only one I could place. I guess this proves they use actors on those daytime shows.

Madison not the next supreme. fairly expected.

I wouldn't rule anyone out at this point. I think my money is still on stevie nicks. Zoe is too predictable, unless they just use it for an excuse for bad things to happen to her.

oh I forgot about the breathing life back into precious.


for the coven, we have witches with innate basic powers. And can cast spells on top of that. The red head having clearly "cast a truth spell". The daughter casting some kind of fertility spell. these were spells, not innate powers.

Which does bring into question. how was kyle brought back to life, and who did it? was it the spell? I dont think so. If bringing someone back from the dead was so simple, Fiona would probably be a bit more careful with Madison's body. I think this does imply Zoe for next supreme. But Im still leaning stevie nicks.
Someone will probably heal the daughters eyes after her being blinded.
