Took me about 3.5hr to get my 150 convicts. My recommendation: Wake up at 4am EST and start a group for it.
Although since we'll probably running a strong group in that area every night it could be fun to just farm it slow style. As far as PvP goes I imagine fighting over Hasla tokens is pretty good.

Yeah, launch issues aside I'm having an absolute blast in this game. I've never given one shit about crafting but the actual physical farmland is great and I'm completely obsessed with it. I'm not even max level yet (close...48). The last game I had legit fun with prior to max level was EverQuest. Seriously.

I actually do enjoy them. I was just saying, they don't take up an appreciable amount of time. If I plant short grow time stuff I need (lavender, mushrooms), I'm basically on the hook for them every hour. If I do longer term stuff like aspen's, it's essentially plant and forget about it.
Crafting is interesting in this game, but right now it's essentially just afk grinding (take 5000 medicinal powder and make tier 1 potions). I kind of wish it was more like the EQ crafting grind, where you can't use the lowest tier crap to level. It kind of cheapens it a bit. Right now crafting is literally just throwing as many labor points as possible at the lowest tier items to skill up.
Um, holy shit. Yeah, I'm on PST so I may as well just stay up until 1am instead. That said, 3.5 hours sounds awesome considering I've already spent more than that for my 60 (although I also have around 30-40 other kinds, mostly sacrifice).
Is there a reason I should buy the founder's pack vs. just buying credits? I totaled up what you get from the Silver pack and it's 7840 in credit value for $50. I can get 8500 credits for the same price...

Back when the founders pack was availaible this game was actually pretty good. A lot of us paid $150 to get in early for that edge regardless of the rewards.
The game sings a different song now though.

They need to change jewelry crafting. Right now, you can only upgrade the earth procs. Chance of getting an Earth is 1 in 4, but you have to then proc earth for each tier or you have to start all over.

When you will finally upgrade your armor to level 44, the Illustrious Set will be able to be in 4 different versions:
?Desert STR and STA,
?Lake STA and INT,
?Quake STR, STA and INT,
?Sunset STR and INT,
You can't influence which item from the set you will craft, so it will take a lot of time to craft full set of Illustrious Lake Plate Armor.

You're right about where I am, the only thing is is that the first tier of armor/weapon crafting is a great way to recycle moonlight archeum and vocation tonics for quick labor dumps and leveling.
I'm working on the numbers right now but essentially you can recycle the 1 moonlight craft over and over til you're out of labor.
Craft > Evenstone (disenchant) > craft - repeat... better than potato leveling used to be imo (more expensive money wise but less expensive time wise) (craft 10 de 10 etc)
