Apparently during the lag people were putting multiple houses/farms in the same spot, or finding an area clear and placing a house or farm over stuff that was already there and hadn't loaded yet.

I wonder if placing down a house is completely client side?

I think if it was there'd be instances of this before now. I am betting it was just a result of the crazy server issues.

Sort of like how the russian version was a test for us. The russians developed a very wide suite of hacks and exploits which nobody bothered to fix. The chinese will be ready!

Yeah I think I'll never trust the security of an MMO developed for South Korea. There they have their accounts tied to their version of a SSN, and getting banned from one account can get you banned from all MMOs. People say it's easy to get other/fake SSNs for puppet/expendable accounts but I don't know how true that is.

I remember back in the day I wanted to try out L2 (it's been a while I believe that's what it was) before it was released here. So I just downloaded a SSN generator and got an address for a business off the web. Im sure now its even easier.

Who knows though, if I ever go to S.Korea they might arrest me coming off the airplane.

I feel like ZOS was worse, but maybe it was just the generally awful game that was TESO that was worse, and all the problems TESO had were just shit-pebbles on top of a shit mountain instead of annoyances that made an underlying great game even worse.

I agree somewhat. Trion is pretty hamstrung because they play pretty much no part in the development process but they're not completely blameless for the problems either. When the game isn't having issues it's pretty fun to play. But it seems every time I turn around there'ssomethingwrong.

Servers been down for over 24 hours now lol. Like 5 times they've posted that servers are restarting and will be available then 4 hours later they say they're still investigating, rinse and repeat.

Expecting to come back at this point with three hundred less yatas on my arcum plots; now I'm thinking of the best ways to use them for an alternative purpose now. I suppose I could use some of the thunderstrucks in the warehouse, plus some credits to get my farm cart up to a hauler.
